I appreciate your enthusiasm i really do , but a bit of realism is also needed. Nobody is going to bid 3.5 million on a player who has 1 year left on his deal , has had 2 bad knee injuries , is currently at a club in league one. Also 10 million for Knight you keep pushing is equally hilarious.

Tbh i've previously not liked the RT mainly because the previous person in charge was up their own ass. That and the idea of people taking payday loans etc to get season tickets & finally repeatedly claiming to speak for all fans , when all fans are not signed up to their group. However having just listened to that interview im willing to listen and if it continues the same way i might even consider joining.

Good shot stopper (Actually much better than i originally thought), not bad at all at coming out for crosses. My only issue with him now is his atrocious kicking. I know its not exactly the first thing a keeper needs to be good at , but there has been countless times from freekicks or goal kicks he has kicked it right out of play. If he can improve on this he is probably prem quality for me.

LR now got some thinking to do as to how far to adopt the tactical changes that we saw against Wycombe. I think DC’s team will be watching his next step very carefully

Dids on his own up front didn’t work for me either. He’s not a lone CF.

Second half I thought Chester needed to pull out wide more when we had the ball as it was a little stale with Davies holding onto it a lot.

Think he has got unlucky on a fair few occasions , hit the woodwork , last ditch block , great save etc. Id be more worried if he wasnt getting in the positions to score tbh , think once he gets one he will get a fair few. Also his workrate is fantastic , and he brings others into the game , the pass last night for the first goal , first time pass was excellent. We need to be patient , maybe he needs a games rest or whatever , i doubt that would hurt. Still would like 1 more loan forward to be honest , just to take the pressure off him even more.

I hope I'm wrong and its just a case of shaking off the pre season drama, but wondered what others thoughts are currently towards LR. I'm fully behind him for now...

Id be happy to have collins as well as McGoldrick tbh , if having a bit man up top suits our game plan then it makes sense to have more than 1 otherwise 1 injury completely messes up how we want to play etc. I would however like a pacy forward too to bring off the bench or to target weaknesses against certain teams, although i imagine this player would need to be a loan from a prem team.

I imagine aslong as we can prove to the EFL that all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed regarding the money actually being sent (but stuck in transit) and contracts being signed and that the stadium has some sort of deal to allow us to play in it i really cant see there being a problem.

Gut feeling is that everything is ok and we will get an announcement tomorrow morning early hours from CK himself.
