sunnyhill60 got a reaction from jono in Who has Rooney improved as a player MK2
Lawrence is reaching heights we have not seen previously. I am sure giving him the captaincy was a Rooney masterstroke.
For players like Thompson, who were never seen before Rooney, claiming improvement is not possible. What is certain is Rooney has, with his decisions on the timing of their introductions, managed the younger players superbly. His leadership and the values he has demonstrated have enabled a unity of purpose that has led to us having a chance of survival.

Another outstanding performance from Captain Tom tonight.
Marvelous quick feet for his goal and what a pass for Festy's goal!
Had he been interviewed I am sure he would have said, like Fozzy did, how much he is enjoying this season

This is why it has to go to the high court. The EFL has an agenda and the case needs to heard in a fair and neutral setting.

I’ve emailed…..
investigation into the EFL and it’s dealings with regard to DCFC :
1. Efl approve the stadium sale then subsequently charge DCFC
2. Efl approve amortisation method, sign off two years accounts then subsequently charge DCFC in response to MFC threats to sue EFL.
3. MFC drop their threat to sue the EFL
4. EFL lose case against DCFC. Nb accountant on the panel
5. EFL appeal and appoint a new panel with no accountant.
6. EFL win case
7. DCFC have no right of appeal
8. DCFC go into administration.
9. Middlesbrough and Wycombe announce intention to claim against DCFC.
20. Such “claims” prevent DCFC exiting admin.
21. After 4 months of delaying the EFL finally decide the “claims” have to be settled by DCFC. Interesting this eventual decision, comes days after the transfer window has closed and maximum disruption to DCFC.
22. How can an unsubstantiated “claim” by other clubs be deemed as a bona fide creditor, and a football creditor that takes precedence over other creditors even HMRC.
23. EFL rules preclude claims between member clubs.
24. As for the claims, if you look into the detail, you will see they are pure fantasy and clearly just a chance to make money, or more sinister and an attempt to actually put DCFC into liquidation. And apparently aided and abetted by the EFL
Thank you for your time.

sunnyhill60 reacted to Leeds Ram in Birmingham City (H) Matchday Thread
My god I don't even know what to say really. The march before the game was way bigger than I had dared to imagine and it is something that we'll all remember for years to come and shall go down in folklore. The atmosphere before the game and at the end was absolutely spine tingling and very emotional. The team struggled until 70 minutes, looked flustered, uncomfortable on the ball and unsure of how to get at Birmingham. The tactical change did its trick and we started knocking on the door making them look poor. The noise for the final goal and after was honestly nothing like I've heard at a Derby match before, a giant outpouring of emotion occurred that simply could not be contained. An absolutely epic day and one that's made me monumentally proud to be a Derby fan.

sunnyhill60 reacted to kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong in Wayne Rooney
I've been a vocal critic of Rooney in the past and scoffed at claims that he was supposedly loyal to the club, pointing out that he had,had no offers to turn down in any case.
But now he has, from Everton no less and yet he still chose to turn it down in favour of finishing the job with our disaster strewn, train wreck of a club.
Fair play to him for both his loyalty and also his ability to unite and motivate the players during this ****storm.

Late night thought:
Today I’ve felt the most optimistic about our future as a club as I have in a long while.
Will be over the moon with whoever takes us over (I really do hope it is Ashley though - I know that might be controversial)
Hope, and believe deep down that there will continue to be Derby County, and I can’t wait for this all to be over with.
The game against Brum should be brilliant, really looking forward to it.

Colin Murray has done us justice in the past few days. On Saturday , on Quest, and now on 5live.
He recognises the significance of our fate for the game. One did not have to agree with all the comments heard in the programme to be sure it will have served our cause well.
Well worth a listen.
