Bohinen would be excellent

Funny enough Warne has just been talking about him on sky before the Playoff final. Mentioned his pace (one of Warnes turn ons) and his creativity from wing back. If he has a good game today Warne could definitely be onto him in the coming days.

Which is the point. Mid table would be success because we will have a mid table budget.

Built well over a few seasons is probably the answer.

That's the third similar comment this afternoon. Not seen anyone being too silly on the expectations thread.

Win half of our home games
Finish mid-table
Play better football

I understand there is a facility to add additional members to the squad during the summer.

I dont necessarily think Warne will but I've long argued that Rooney would make a good DCM. Clearly comfortable on the ball, decent range of passing, little one paced but good in air & happy to move forward with the ball in central areas.
The only other position I'd consider him would be RCB but think we've got better even in current squad.

Though we are now out of the post administration need for approved budgets, in terms of budgets in comparison to other teams we are now actually more restricted post promotion.
When you look at the parachute clubs and clubs with super rich owners throwing money at the situation. That's not a criticism of Clowes btw just an assessment of where we are.
It is likely that we will have gone from a top 2 budget in league one to a mid table budget in the Championship.
Thankfully most supporters understand and appreciate this as seem to be indicated by our realistic expectations thread.
The next 2 seasons will be a real test of PW and our recruitment team.

No 8-year-old has ever told a parent they want to hike up the 4 highest peaks in every country in the UK for charity. It's just a bunch of parents who are desperate to be told on radio and/or local TV how amazing their kids are.
Some posters are incapable of following the OP's request and, rather than starting their own thread, prefer to hijack someone else's.

It's not a standing 8. When you are being supported it counts as a knockdown. If there had been another 30 seconds in that round he wouldn't have survived. The ref must have been close to stopping it.
I think Fury's arrogance cost him any chance of winning that. Stepped off the gas in the 7th because he thought he was way ahead. Then late one caught him with a great shot and didn't throw another punch for 20 seconds. Showboating instead.
He should retire but will no doubt come back for another payday

Fury saw it through to the end but surely lost by 3 or 4 rounds.
I don't think he ever recovered from that hook to the nose.
2 fights too many for a great champion.

People who point out that people who start threads stating no replies then reply should note that person may be replying to a moderating comment not an opinion.
Also they are a big meanie.

Darlington at home in the League Cup, if I recall correctly. I think Reg Matthews got injured and John O'Hare took the gloves. The game finished 5-4 to Derby.

Not Warne's biggest fan but I'm very encouraged by this released list.
Will see who comes in now.
He clearly recognises we need an upgrade, hopefully he can deliver it.

Posting your opinion and putting "fact" at the end, makes you a cockwomble, imoh.
