I wonder if Neil Taylor might be on his way here. With all the new players knowing each other from playing in other teams, our lack of a LB and lack of movement with Fozzy's contract.

We seem to be recruiting a lot of Republic of Ireland players. We already have Knight and Cashin (formerly had Watson and Festy). Reportedly signed Hourihane and McGoldrick and linked with James Collins.
Anyone fancy another Irish international out of work called Cyrus Christie?
-
Would love this if we can us him to hold up the ball so our midfielders can score. Would imagine this could be brilliant for the likes of Knight and Sibley to not only score goals but raise their price when we sell them.

The fan support groups (RamsTrust, dcfcbawt, PunjabiRams) are worth following if you want to be kept up to speed on latest news from fan group news.
For general derby fan discussions I follow RamsPolls, Totaldcfc, DerbyRetweets, _omeara_r, Rams_Chat, derbycountyblog, JakeBarker1212, AnalyticsDerby and overhere3.
For during the game derbycounty posts live commentary and dcfclee posts gifs/videos of goals soon after (though he also posts a lot of other things not related to derby)
And vaguely ITK take it or leave it Andy(_derby5hire) seems to be on the ball sometimes.

He may say he has no problem with the fans, but it will be us and new owners affected rather than previous runners of the club.

Hi Buddy. Dont think you could have watched the programme. Samuelson and the reps of Mr X were shown in the car driving to, and meeting, Mel Morris at Pride Park. The announcement came over the radio as they were driving to that meeting. I am oviously not sure of the timelines of the Mr X negotiations, in particular how long they might have gone on for, but unless the journos were fabricating the story I think it is clear that this story starts a little before Lampard was contracted.
Really sorry i-Ram but watch the section again, 44 minutes into the youtube video linked above. explicitly says on the radio that lampard is back at chelsea after 5 years as their new manager.

Interesting isn’t it, the timeline on the Lampard announcement. Playing on the Radio as the representatives of Mr X are driven to the club for their first meeting with Morris.
Someone wrote on here a week or two back, can’t remember who but someone on my credible list - not you Big Trav ? - that he was under the impression another manager was destined for the hot seat, but there was a sudden unexpected shift to the unproven Lampard. I wonder if Mel thought that Lampard’s involvement and ‘vision’ might make the Club and the investment that tiny bit more attractive to Mr X?
Mr X didnt get involved until the summer Lampard was leaving so doubt Mr X was the reason. The bringing in of Lampard and Wayne were both for publicity for selling the club whilst I think Cocu was brought in to sustain the club until someone bought the club.
Mr X might be who Mel spoke about during the Supporters Charter being the one who he thought were buying the club a couple of years ago but didn't go through and have been scrambling ever since.

44 minutes to 49 minutes when Mr X goes to buy Derby County.

Don't see neither Alex Matthews nor Bartosz Cybulski. They were being offered new contracts after end of their U18 scholarship so might have lost those two aswell...

"Of course hardly a day goes by and we don't hear about another perspective of club takeover an early run we were talking about Darby County Mel Morris, the outgoing owner has reportedly sold the club to Spanish businessman Eric Alonso, but of course Derby fans and fans of other clubs always get a bit nervous these days when it comes to fit and proper and who is the gentleman who's coming in so in this case the question is.

EA-"Normally what they say these yes don't trust my words but let me work, you know, I will prove my worth with say with my daily work so they will see what we do"
SJ- "what are your plans for obvious as you will know as a businessman that going into a football club will require a Derby has required a lot of funding from Mel Morris who I'm sure you know because you're buying the club from him or what what are your plans? Eric are your plans to invest significance amounts of money to push? Wayne Rooney and his management team to get Derby out of the championship into the Premier League.
EA- "What I see yesterday we will take a lot of work right there, as you know, football club needs a big investment yeah even more if you want to have a success so a step by step but what we want is success and try to go to a premier league as soon as possible like I say"
SJ - "Who's gonna run the club Eric do you have a lot of football operators around you who you're gonna put in to run it who's gonna be the chairman is that gonna be you?"
EA- "Yeah for now we are checking all the options. I have a lot of football people around me, you know, so yes, we will have a some someone who is very good and he is well now in world of football and he was also in real Madrid one of the biggest club in the world, so I'm sure the fans will not be disappointed"JW - "and you are related as an Alonzo, are you related to Xavi Alonso is that the family?"
EA - "Yeah, he's his father it's family of my father. I'm not exactly the the length, you know, because we don't have a strong relationship but yes, we are we are family"JW- "okay and Eric mentioned Wayne Rooney, do you look forward to having a close relationship with Rooney he's the man you want to be to be managing your club"

Judge him by his work not his words
Will have help from someone who has worked at Real Madrid and is a big name in football
Firstly we need to stay in the league but manager and players have his full support
Message to all Derby fans, appreciate all words from fans and good times will return
Wants to be confirmed as soon as possible
If that Madrid part is true, wouldn't surprise me if he brings in one of No Limits clients Predrag Mijatović, ex Real Madrid Director of Football. Which would outline why he might be erring over Rooney as previous poster on here has said.
