There’ll be trouble if you suggest that @angieram in any way resembles Nora Batty….

I assume you're being sent there as punishment for being such a cheery chappy......

Possibly, but with the threat of liquidation still hanging over us, then the administrators may not be in a position to sanction the extensions - a preferred bidder would give the club direction and someone to make those sort of decisions as the club would then be considered to be a going concern....

Sorry but you really don't understand the role of the Administrators - of course there is no club without the fans, but that doesn't mean that the Administrators are required/need to speak to the fans. The are answerable to the creditors (only), not the fan base.
Providing an update to us is a courtesy, which they do because they appreciate the links between the club and its supporters, but they are solely there to maximise the return to the creditors - preferably via a sale, but if not, by liquidating the club and selling off whatever has any value.....

Did you read the comment I was replying to? The suggestion was that the Administrators are answerable to the fans - which is quite clearly incorrect whatever stage of the process we're at.....

You're righ, but perhaps it was imminent - then perhaps a new bidder appeared - or one of the exisiting ones had second thoughts.
Nothing is done until it's done - the constant whinging and gnashing of teeth on here by folk that should know better is pointless at best.....

Gaspode got a reaction from 66DegreesNorth in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
In addition, I've not seen any mention of us being formally charged relating with breaking FFP - just that the EFL had reviewed the re-submitted accounts and considered that we would be in breach - the administrators agreed to a points deduction to allow the sale to move forward, but are unlikely to have admitted any guilt as part of the deal.
There's a huge legal difference to us being thought to have broken FFP rules and actually being charged with the breach (which we could have defended and appealed) - therefore any suggestion of 'cheating' is purely subjective and wouldn't stand up in court.....

Dear mods,
Can we please change the title of this thread to: Alan Nixon Breaks Wind...
Technically speaking, it's probably more accurate and would make me laugh because I'm quite juvenile and still think fart jokes are funny.
