He’s fine for when we’re dominating and passing the ball around. But he’s a passenger when we’re out of possession and in a physical battle.
His legs have gone this season in terms of sprinting. He still puts a shift in but in a foot race he doesn’t win many.

Good win. It’s all about how we follow it up against Barnsley now as they’re the games that will define our season.
Thought Bradley was great, not just for defending but his direct passing through the middle is something we have lacked. If Cashin is going in January then maybe we stick with this now?
Not really a fan of Hourihane sitting so deep as it just feels like he gets in the way a bit, but he might have been told to sit that deep.
Went to pot a little towards the end but I guess we had bought the luxury of being able to make lots of changes and experiment a bit.

I do think Clowes will still back Warne. It’s in his best short term financial interests to do so and there’s no guarantee his next choice would change the results/style of play.
I don’t think he will be 100% behind him though, he will definitely be considering what his next move might be.
I did think the fans not turning up might be on Clowes mind, but even if we do drop to below 20k per game, then it only takes a new appointment and a string of wins to turn that back around.

So now I can't understand why Clowes didn't give the job to Rosenior. He's willing to let us be abysmal under Warne under the belief he'll give us stability, and eventually promote us. A man who I don't think gives a monkey's for this club - he said he didn't care for our history.
Rosenior who stuck with us through awful times, who had us playing some great football and some dull (not awful, just dull) stuff too. Why didn't Mr Clowes appreciate what he'd already committed to the Club and give him a chance?

I don’t think that statement means a lot.
It could have a big impact on the players though. I don’t get the feeling that they all love this style of play and after all, it’s how they perform that will decide Warne’s future.
I thought the Stevenage third goal was a good example of players not arsed about playing for the manager.

How many over 30 is too many though…I always feel like we’re an old squad but are we?
On Saturday we had Wildsmith, Nyambe, Cashin, Bird, Sibley and Wilson all under 30. Nelson is only 5 months over 30. Average age of the starting 11 was 27.
Fornah and Ward could arguably be classed as first 11 or pushing for it and are under 30.
NML is arguably our best/most effective player at the minute but over 30.
I just don’t feel like the age is the problem?

Agreed. Wildsmith, Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin, Bird, NML, probably Wilson, Barkhuizen,  Fornah, Ward.
it's frustrating how often they come out nervous & twitchy, scared to make a mistake.

I actually think for this level our squad is more than good enough.
At least half the starting 11 could still play in the Championship in my opinion.
It’s amazing what a lack of style/purpose and poor confidence can do to a team.

I’d imagine QPR have moved Ainsworth on with Eustace already lined up. He would have been a good option for us.

Can’t understand why anybody would want Warnock yet unless they are really worried about staying up.
Warnock is a short term approach for any team these days and perfect for a ‘until the end of the season’ appointment. I guess not many managers last longer than a season or two nowadays.

My son and I travel home and away at great expense to support this team. I am not and never will be 'outside noise ' . You should be grateful we care enough to have an opinion of your hopeless coaching ability, trying to play a style that was fit for the 80s.  Never take this club nor the supporters for granted whilst you leach off our backs getting very well paid for a substandard job

Unfortunately can’t see him going anywhere.
He will get Tuesday night and win, then get another few games.
This season is a write off unless he’s gone next week.
