It will be the second one in the family. Old Jess is still limping on at my Mum’s house.

My sister is getting this puppy in two weeks. Will be a shame I can’t see him for a while.

Parsnip got a reaction from Comrade 86 in What are you eating tonight
Last Boxing day we had the in laws round as per tradition. Mrs Parsnip's dad brought a massive pork pie he'd made. On a whim I decided to serve it warm.
Frigging hell I'm not joking, he couldn't have been more offended if I started playing videos of me banging his daughter. He was distraught. It's still really uncomfortable if it gets mentioned. I think he's actually stopped loving his grandkids a bit because of it, because they remind him of me.
Glad this Christmas is a bust to be honest.

This is my own take on a traditional Peruvian Steak Paella. The rice, which I import directly from Lima has been marinating all weekend in a blend of spices, the details of which I will take to my grave. The hand reared steak is a piece of my 5 year old daughter's favourite cow Matilda, whom she helped slaughter.

The i5 is not intels state of the art processor any more and AMD have been getting slightly better results, with better prices, on the Ryzen chips.
So it looks to me like the somewhat higher cost of the bigger screen is being offset by putting a cheaper i5 chip in.
On balance I'd be leaning towards the second one. If your son's genuinely using it on lap then 15 in is plenty of screen. So he'll get a slightly better visual experience with the faster AMD chip. (although the GPU is the same, the AMD will be passing more instructions more quickly so should on balance look "better" in high action animation).
And there's a few Bob beer money for dad..... ?

Oh yes - i would certainly agree with that. And if your laptop was a business one, it wouldn't have had the all-important gaming class graphics card so he'd notice a big difference.
