Blunt as f*** up front, brittle at the back. Same old same old.

So net-zero but with better chances of seeing decent football. I'd take it.

    f*** that.
That's lower than our current ppg of 1.5.
At a bear minimum I'd be demanding 10 points. Looking at the opposition that should be eminently possible.

No it hasn't, and that's one of the primary reasons a hefty chunk of folks want him gone.
7 from 15 is more of the same. More of the same is unacceptable.

I rate David Clowes' ownership abilities as impeccable. If they weren't this forum would no longer be a place for discussion but merely a garden of remembrance for DCFC Limited.
He made a much supported decision to run this club as a sustainable business with a four-year rebuilding plan for the academy and the first team. He decided that based on his previous record in this division, Paul Warne would be the man given the opportunity to return the club to the Championship. He did not hold a gun to Warne's head demanding that immediate promotion was essential to the plan. When we missed out on securing a play-off place in May, David Clowes didn't make a knee-jerk reaction but held firm in the continuation of the project and backed Warne's first opportunity to recruit players of his choice.
In the past three weeks the performances and results have been very disappointing. That can happen and often does even in successful promotion seasons. But the reaction of Paul Warne to the growing fan criticism is a critical concern in the direction the team is currently going. As he says, it's a new experience for him to face criticism from the fans but in his media interviews he simply appears to have no answers as to how to remedy the situation. He seems confused in his leadership and consequently both the players and fans are confused, leaving us rudderless on the field. Facing Northampton and then Crewe is now a much bigger issue than it should ever be for this club.
David Clowes is not just the owner but also an avid lifelong fan and for that he is probably just as confused, worried and disappointed at the moment as many of us. I would imagine that in his day job, there have been several occasions where he has had to revise projects mid-term in the interest of an optimal outcome, which may also have included parting company with employees sooner rather than later. He has kept his thoughts to himself the past month. However, with the current turmoil the time must be near to when he will reveal if he wishes to continue with project as it stands or revise it.

No Ipswich this year. No Sheff Wed this year. No Sunderland this year. Wigan with a points deduction. Reading with a points deduction, and Blackpool a team in transition.
Ideal opportunity to escape this awful league, but no, of course we have to absolutely p1ss away the chance.
PW must be a football genius, cos for the life of me I can't see where we're trying to get to with these tactics and system.

Wouldn't have mattered if the ref played an extra 30 minutes, we weren't going to be scoring.
Re the officials, yes they're sh*te at this level, but good teams will batter the likes of Cambridge to the extent that the officials' performance is largely irrelevant. Sadly, we don't fit into that bracket so every little decision counts.
We're mid-table, and that's exactly the team we have, a mid-table team, playing mid-table football, with mid-table tactics. If this is the height of our ambition then what delights we have to look forward to..... 🙄

3 wins from the last 13 home games.
11 goals scored in those 13 games.
All the penetrative power of a team of eunuchs.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 30+ years and never wanted to miss a match.

I’ve decided today that until Warne has gone I won’t be attending any more games. I left on 72 minutes today, something I’ve never done before.

It was awful, no direction and wasting my Saturday afternoon.

The football he plays and the way he treats the academy (something that is close to me and my family) I can’t give him any more support.

Call it mardy, but in all these years I’ve never felt like this about a manager.

I’ve supported Warne despite evidence to the contrary. He says a lot of good stuff, he seems like a good bloke. But that second half tactical and substitution decision-making was beyond Sunday league. I’m done. He can go.
