This neat little two seater looks tailor made for the entrance porch to this ground floor bedsit........alfresco living in sunny Utch!

We should have a summer of Rams flags.

Take your flags out and about with you and post up your pics on here. I want to see DCFC flags wherever you go for a day out, whether its Thorpe Cloud, Alton Towers, Gullivers Kingdom or Morrisons.

I'll try and get one at Utch races soon. I'm tempted to do a sneaky one outside the Britannia Stadium as well!

Spent the week in a pub in Dorset, well most of the week, drinking Palmers ales from Bridport. 

Slurp. Palmer's Dorset Gold is up there. Ringwoods Best Bitter is ok as well.

Nearly as good as Burton Bridge Bitter or Bass.

Look, if Daveo and Boycie are going to fall out over this thread then we need to meet up and sort it out.

​Haha, missed this post Boycie.....yep, the land used to have a rail line running through it, the old line is a nice walk so the council "themed" the gates that keep the motorbikes lads out.

The old line ran from Uttoxeter, the next stop was the JCB World Headquarters factory at Rocester, followed by Denstone (near the College), then a couple of hundred yards from Alton Towers and on to Oakamoor through to Macclesfield i believe.

Good job they closed it down, they'd be no call for it now!

The poor sofa, left to fend for itself in the wild  has finally met its demise at the hands of the arsonist-druggie beast that roams wildly throughout our green and pleasant land......

Sofa Watch - Day 3

The cheap construction of the sofa is now evident as it nears the end of its life......................

To get the wheely bin into this field, the perpetrator would have had to push it past the entrance to the Council Refuse and Recycling Centre (The Tip), then over some rough ground and through a boggy patch.

You can't help but admire the work gone into it.

Sofa update

The sofa has moved approximately 30 yards since yesterday. It is now located in an underpass underneath the Uttoxeter - Rocester road flyover.

​We're marching on the Town Hall to demand coffee tables.

​I was going to Wolfie but decided to leave it or the kids will have nothing to burn later.

Greene King IPA Gold 4.1%

A light, golden bitter, served chilled its as refreshing as a lager but with a satisfyingly beer taste with fruity undertones.

£3.99 for four 500ml cans from Tesco. 

Bigger bargain than Jake Buxton and Chris Martin combined.

What a beautiful place to unwind and walk the dog whilst humming DCFC songs to oneself........

Most beers will taste a tiny bit nicer this evening

About £11, I just checked. Ta. Problem with the train is that you have to go via Sheffield and Stockport, 2hr26min journey to go somewhere else in Derbyshire!

 

One for the future when my bank balance hasn't got a Christmas hangover.
