Or, he could take the England job and bang on about how lucky he feels getting the job. Then film a black and white video of himself standing on the Wembley pitch looking at the stands- maybe throw a photo of him staring at a photo of Alf Ramsey holding the world cup into the mix.
In twelve months he could have Uncle Harry on Talk sport banging on about how England can do one as the Brazil jobs become available and he's off .  We can then have 6 weeks of build up destroyed while he goes on holiday pretending he's considering his options and getting his back room staff in order.  One week before the world cup he can leave England with a couple of half arsed warm up's against Papau New Guinea and The Galapagos  and half a squad of players. Pre tournament training will be ran by Jimmy' five bellies' Gardner as no-one can be arsed to turn up and take it.

Heard a discussion on talk sport involving managers and owners discussing sackings and how they come about. The owner was saying that this ‘give them 3 games to turn it around stuff’ is a waste of time. Once the rot has set in, and the relationships have soured, there is absolutely no point hanging on just wasting everyone’s time. The definition of kicking the can down the road really. So it seems odd, or just incompetent, that they didn’t just get rid when it seemed obvious to the whole world that it clearly wasn’t working out.

Oh the city itself in terms of what’s there is actually quite nice, just a shame it’s full of people from Leeds!
Christ that sounds even more complex than my poo!??

Oh nice one ? yeah it's weird as they all pride themselves on it being such a great friendly city and i've never noticed that tbh. The good thing is there are a few cinemas and stuff and the odd decent pub like the fenton ?

Second year mate! In all fairness it’s not too bad, but let’s just say I quickly found out that it’s not just leeds fans who are tosspots- it’s the majority of people up here!

Maths mate, evidently I’ve got as good decision making as Tom Lawrence in the final third.

Uni of Leeds? You’re not the only one up there from here mate ?
And feeling miserable in Leeds is a perfectly normal feeling, it’s a shitehole full of obnoxious dheads. Trouble is, you can get a decent degree there. Every cloud I guess...?

Visited this thread quite a bit but first time posting on it.  These are our two - Simba the cat and Ollie the dog.  Simba was a rescue from the RSPCA and we had Ollie as a pup a year ago.

Makes you proud seeing players like those two go on to big things when we’ve played a part in their development. Both great guys too by the looks of things, really happy for the pair of them. If I’m being honest, I didn’t expect the pair to be playing at the very top this soon, but delighted for them and hope their rise continues.

Behave. He left for his dream job and never pretended he wouldn’t. All concerned new it was on the cards, and just came around earlier than expected.
If Rotherham gave you your big break, but then Derby came a-knocking, you’d do the same. I certainly would. I’d always have a soft spot for Rotherham though, and look for their results, but there’s only one place I really want to be.

Tell you what, makes you realise, if you didn’t before, how good those loans were for this level.
We scraped into 6th last season. It was a helluva ride, but ultimately that was the end result.
The commentator on talk sport mentioned about how many points were gained by Harry’s freekicks, and who’s going to score those free kicks now?
That really hit it home for me, and this more so.
Without Harry scoring some top draw belters, not to mention tomori and mount’s contribution, we would have been a distinctly average team, finishing in a distinctly average position.
We’ve not replaced those players. But we were never, seriously, likely too. They were a cut above, and trying to get in 3 more loans of the same calibre would be like winning the lottery, then winning it again the next week. Not going to happen.
So we are what we are, we have the players we have, if anyone thinks Cocu’s going for promotion this season, they’re dreaming. Top 6 would be an almighty achievement with this squad.
