That response was someone saying all he was guilty of was spending too much cash and then wanting to stop. He’s far worse than that.
But indeed that is the question. And my answer stands. Liquidation.

This sounds exactly like one of those girls who take their ex boyfriend back despite him cheating on her about 17 times because “he promised he’s changed”. Nah, Mel deserves no second chance.

Only really seen them as a kid, so will be good to be able to have a drink this time, if it goes ahead! Dave is an unbelievable front man. I’m not a huge rock fan / metal fan in general (certainly wouldn’t catch me at download!) but there’s something about the Foo Fighters that makes them special. Don’t know where they go from here, but I’m sure Taylor wouldn’t want them to just stop. An incredibly difficult man to replace though.

I know that this season has brought us all togather derby county against rest of the world but in the long term we need continue this support and I am not under any doubt that this we rebuild could take years to take back to standard it was. We need to try rebuild our academy now right down from under 18s right upto under 23s to first team. 
I do hope that rooney fancy rebuilding from ground up and yes it will take money to get us back but also we need to be resauceble look at young players being released from clubs but also scout watching grassroots level from school teams that young players that could step up over the years that could maybe one day make to our first team.
At doing this will help save derby county money looking at long term gains.

Aw, I thought it was a once in a lifetime thing, I felt special. 

If we get liquidated, another club will form, with the same fanbase, the same badge and probably even the same name. It’s not like we won’t have a club to support. The question effectively boils down to what matters more - the company Derby County or Mel Morris. In my view, from a matter of principle, I’d rather a new company be formed than Mel come back. At least it would be a team I could be proud of. Even it was in lower leagues. I couldn’t be proud to support a football club owned by Mel Morris.

Name me 10 owners who’ve destroyed a football club more than Mel has. There’s no defence for him. No defence at all. He gambled with the clubs future, then ducked off and left it to die. There’s some dodgy characters in football ownership, but very few have done the damage to a football club and community that Mel has. He’s right up there with the very worst, and I’m fed up of people trying to somehow justify his actions because he’s a “Derby man”. All those people who’ve lost their jobs because of his actions. 

Curtis Davies. Anyone else and you’re wrong. The man is a bona fide modern day Derby legend in my view. 

We should hope to see Mel sitting down with the Administrators. This weekend they're meant to be assessing the final bids and part of that will be Pride Park which is not in the Admin's gift, so it's vital that Morris is there agreeing to one thing or another for Quantama to be able to present their preferred bidder to the EFL this week.

I'm sure it won't happen but if it did I'd rather see Pride park burn to the ground than let that Bamford get within 10 miles of us ever again. I'd honestly prefer to see us start up again in non-league and rise through the divisions.
