Could be, Not sure how that would work for maybe a 24 hour delay to kick off ?‍♀️

Our FA Cup match could be on the Sunday also (I think fixtures are split between Saturday and Sunday in the first two rounds). We could also be picked for TV.

Children's shirts do not have gambling sponsors on them, even the U21's shirts Derby play in do not have them, it's been like that for years now.

If you want to see children being exploited, look at video games, mobile phone games where they encourage kids to open loot boxes, some of these games do not even have an age rating so kids as old as 6/7 are introduced to them. I would argue this and social media would expose more children to gambling than a sponsor on a football shirt ever would.

As for being a parent, no I'm not, but If I go to any seaside resort across the country these weekend, the amusements will be packed, parents handing kids pots of coins to place in machine hoping it pushes more out. Buying those plastic balls with a toy inside completely unaware of what they may get. Is this not teaching children gambling?

I would think that there are a lot of kids that the children’s shirts are too small for so end up with the adults shirts that have the gambling logos on them (I stated wearing adult shirts when I was around 11 I think). I wore shirts with Pedigree on them. Fortunately this didn’t affect me (I don’t drink alcohol) but I imagine it could of had an affect on others. Just because the logos aren’t on children’s shirts doesn’t mean gambling isn’t being normalised to children.

The last couple of seasons the club did sell adult shirts unsponsored (I bought them) but this was not very well publicised (in my opinion) and were not viewable in the stadium shop (you had to ask for them at the counter) or available online without requesting them. Also last season during the mid-season sale the unsponsored away shirts were full price but the shirts with 32Red were cheaper (I know this for a fact). How is that right?

This has put me off the whole thing, her goal is forever tainted for me.

We’re never going to be allowed to forget Zamora’s goal are we?!

I was at every England game at the tournament and I thoroughly enjoyed it (even more so than Euro 2020 last year). The atmosphere at the games was really good. No slagging off players or obscene chants just everyone getting behind the team.

I thought I would never see a team I support win a trophy. It was an unbelievable feeling. So proud of the players.

Me and my dad missed out by first dips by one game which means we could miss out in some smaller grounds.

Me too (I think I went to 19). Hoping there’s enough wheelchair spaces when it gets the second window for tickets.

  6. I’m not too happy about my season ticket price. Even with my 10+ season discount my renewal has increased (from my 2020/21 renewal) due to the stadium recategorisation and the club getting rid of cheaper season tickets for disabled supporters (we paid category D price regardless of where we sat (although South Stand supporters paid category E). Feels unfair to be honest because as a wheelchair user I’m limited to where I can sit and now pay the top price in the stadium.

My car park pass has also increased by 62% from 2020/21 (although it does now include cup matches (no guarantee we will be in the cups long enough to get our money’s worth out of that)).

Leeds won 5 on the bounce before lockdown and hadn't conceded a single goal. They lost the first game back after lockdown so that's wrong for a start.

Forest will go straight back down unless they have an impressive summer transfer window. They've looked very average and that's with the loan players at their disposal. The play-off final was a hard watch and totally bereft of any quality.

Just my opinion. They did only have 2 wins in 11 matches before that winning streak so hardly faultless form.

How have Leeds done well? They had the first season where Bielsa's style caught teams off guard, then they scraped clear of relegation by the skin of their teeth. ''yo yo clubs'' like Norwich consistently get automatic promotion.

Their first season in the PL there were no fans in stadiums. That could’ve been a big factor in them doing well that season (as they also won the league when 2019/20 concluded under the same conditions). Before lockdown they looked like they might of had a wobble again.

I didn't, you seemed to make a general point about how people can't control luck. What's that got to with whether Southgate's luck is making him appear to be a better manager than he is?

England happen to find Italy in the quarter finals at Euro 2012 and lose on penalties and it's deemed to be a bad tournament and Capello should be sacked.

England happen to find Italy in the final at Euro 2020 and lose on penalties but it's deemed a good tournament and Southgate is great.

Both managers in both tournaments won all the games they were expected to (Capello also drew to France), and lost to Italy on pens.

the only good victory Southgate has had in two tournaments is over Germany, and they weren't even that good at the time.

Hodgson was manager at Euro 2012. He replaced Capello just before the tournament. Personally I think Hodgson was a terrible England manager.

Southgate has done a good job but is too defensive at times (eg the Euro 2020 Final).

Is it though, how many that would have gone including away fans will now stay away. This is part of 3 games for the price of 2 so it will also impact that as well.

The midweek matches are usually streamed anyway (or on Sky via the red button where the club get no benefit from it) so I don’t really think it’s lost ticket revenue as such as there were people going to watch it at home anyway.

It being picked by Sky as a main fixture unfortunately does mean it’s not available to stream directly from the club. It’s a guaranteed £100K from Sky vs money lost from Rams TV streams.

I noticed the other day when I ordered some Xmas gifts that they'd changed from Dpd to Hermes for deliveries. Not sure why as I've never had any problems with Dpd. Feeling quite nervous now you've posted this as Hermes are notoriously useless. Hope you sort your problem. ?

The shop changed ownership in the summer. It is now run by Fanatics and they use Hermes for deliveries on all their UK websites.

Its worth checking their other websites as they can be cheaper than buying from the Megastore site (also sometimes free delivery too).

Anyone had their Millwall tickets yet? Ordered mine last Wednesday....

I ordered my Barnsley tickets last Monday and haven’t received them as yet. My Preston tickets took ages to be sent out too.

Don't know when the deadline for renewing season tickets is.  So could it be the club are waiting to see  who is renewing their season ticket, before releasing all remaining seats for general sale?

The deadline for guaranteeing your usual season ticket seat is 8 September. Maybe they are waiting until after that to put Stoke tickets on sale.

The final deadline for season tickets is the 30 September as others have said.

Finally got an email response today, 3 and a half days later. It was quite a snotty one telling me to be patient as they answer emails within 7 working days. Obviously that could well have been after the game but hey ho.

They haven't sorted out the glitch either, i just sound a fiddle, which cost me more money, but got a ticket. Basically, they have my son as a 20 year old and as an 121 year old old, so i paid for an OAP ticket instead of a free carers one. So i have to pass an an 121 yr old. I will just do a 6 mile walk the day before and subsequent hobble should fool them.

Did you get the issue sorted?  I’m trying to order Huddersfield tickets but it says my carer ticket has no defined age. I can’t figure out how to change it either. I’ve tried logging in with the carer ID but the website says that it doesn’t exist (even if I try to make a website account with it).
