    Made my day that has.

Every Coventry fan I’ve ever met has been a complete cockwomble, and I think they were the first to start the “party when Derby die” chant last season - despite all their problems.

Luton have been to absolute hell and back, much like us - they deserve this so much. Congrats.

When we went to Luton last season I was in the home end (that’s where the wheelchair area was) and I had to endure them signing about them having a party too then in the next breath they were singing about being shafted by The FA & Football League. Just shows other fans don’t care about other clubs even when they’ve been through crap themselves.

I'm not actually watching the match, but judging by the first half stats, Leicester seem like they're completely dead. 17% of the ball, 44% pass accuracy and no shots. Awful figures.

Forest had 18% possession at home on Saturday. Unfortunately they took their chance when they got it.

Foletti being included seems a bit harsh because 1. I don't remember him and 2. When I looked him up he'd only played in 2 games for us.

How dare you include Yakka Banovic, he was a terrace cult hero. And, oh yes, also complete crap. Maybe you are forgiven for putting his name forward.

Folleti let in 4 goals at PP against a struggling Everton side (We lost 4-3). I think it was David Moyes’s first match in charge of Everton.

I also think his other appearance was a defeat at Tottenham that turned out to be the Bald Eagle’s final match as manager.

  4. Usually I’d go for chesterfield as they’re a Derbyshire club but I think any team that gets 100points+ in a season should be promoted (I think it’s ridiculous that only 1 team goes up automatically in that league).

Also I quite like Notts County. They’re black & white too and hate the red lot as well so surely that counts for something?! Plus their stadium is better than the one next to the Trent too.

Southampton will be lucky to get a point out of tonight's game which will be enough to propel Forest out of that bottom 3 at the expense of Leicester -  I can't see them getting any more points against Liverpool or Newcastle so their race is done.

It's then down to whether Leeds have enough with Big Sam to overtake the Red Dogs.

At least I can take solace that the jug eared crisp eaters will be in the Championship next season.

What's the stats on a team who won the Premiership then getting relegated after x amount of subsequent seasons, Leicester must be in the running for that accolade?

Blackburn were relegated in 1998/99 after winning the league 4 seasons earlier.

Find it hard to believe but have become even more disenfranchised with football after this announcement.

Didn't think that was possible until read this.

A pittance of money for even more games and the right to meddle even further in kick off times.

Sky have been an absolute abomination for football.

It’s not all down to Sky, it’s mainly the EFL’s incompetence and the blackout rule still being in place. In this day and age it’s ridiculous. Sky will of course get around this by showing more matches at different times instead. As others have said the DAZN deal would’ve been better as for fans in the main.

It’s like the EFL have taken the safe option with Sky rather than going for a better deal with someone else.

  7. A few seasons ago I remember hearing that the directors’ box was expanded so I think seats were removed then.

When the away end was moved to the corner I know some seats in front of the wheelchair platform were removed so that those using the platform can see when fans in front are standing.

Currently not listed as being live on Sky according to the SkySports app (one televised prem game is all that it shows at the moment) That could change of course, but currently looking like it isn’t on, perhaps it’ll be on Ramstv as it’s an away fixture not at 3pm on a Sat?

Sky haven’t announced which match they’re showing yet. In recent years It has usually been just 1 future for each division on the final day though for championship, league one & league two.

BT showing the Notts County & chesterfield matches doesn’t affect things.

Forest have home and away support in the same stand

The away area at their ground is horrendous. As a wheelchair user we have to access the away end through the home concourse. The only disabled toilet for the stand is in the home end too. A really bad design (I know fellow fans that refuse to go there). The fact that having both sets of fans in that lower tier is deemed acceptable is a joke.

I’m apprehensive about Sunday as the wheelchair platform is in the lower tier with the Wednesday fans. I haven’t experienced that at Hillsborough (the lower tier has been empty or had Derby fans in there whenever we’ve played there in recent times).

The thing is, it is completely irrelevant to my personal dislikes and you are choosing to ignore that, sending us around in circles trying to hammer in 120 years ago historical events into this.

I just don't dislike Arsenal, I'm sorry, I hope they win the Premier League this season.

That’s your personal choice to dislike a team but it was the reason for your dislike I was talking about. Singling them out when others have done it (and probably will in the future) just seems harsh. Blackburn did it (just one other example).

To be honest it's the new money situation which annoys people- well me.  Perfect storm was Lampard as an example.  Put aside it was him it was a month of Chelseas huge , Chelseas massive,  chelseas the dogs b******* and Derby are an insignificance in this s*** show.  Well I remember Chelsea pre 96 playing second division football/lower half relegation struggling in the 1st division with one FA cup and one league title in the bank, serving up rank football in a stadium that was falling down filled with 10'000 cavemen using seats as frisbees. Chelsea will always have a more successful team than Derby now only thanks to the fact their a team in London and will attract investment.  That's it.

15 years ago Man City were in our league having won nothing in 40 years and losing games to Gillingham.  Now they're ringing Talksport complaining about how much tickets to Wembley are costing them as they keep winning things, because their turds been given a lick of gold paint.

Suppose simply put, they get on my tits and are everything that's wrong in football today.

I get your dislike for Chelsea. A lot of fans just care about recent history these days. Same people that probably think Leicester are a “big club” because the won the league.

Man City in division two was 24 years ago though so their younger fans won’t know about it (they beat Gillingham too).

It's not me that's missing the point here as my dislike is very much to do with the time frame. You keep throwing Arsenal in from 120 years ago, I'm not sure how else to say I'm not interested in what happened 120 years ago.

My point is that successful teams have always bought their success generally. Just because you’re not interested in things that happened a long time ago doesn’t make it irrelevant. It’s your choice to ignore it. I don’t hate arsenal for it but I don’t hate Chelsea or Man City either.

  13. 29 minutes ago, David said:

I'm not sure why you think anyone would dislike a club for something that happened 120 years ago, or even try to compare the two.

What next, comparing Steve Bloomers goals with McGoldrick?

I'm also not arsed what happens in other countries, it's the English football pyramid which I'm interested in as it's being ruined.

Real and Barcelona's actions are not inflating prices down into the Championship for example.

Real and Barcelona are not raiding academies in this country outside the PL, offering insane money to young players that haven't even broke through to the first team.

There is also an argument to be had, it's the actions of Premier League clubs that is seeing clubs in Europe spend insane money that they do not have to compete in the CL.

I'm not actually that arsed about who actually wins the Champions League, I just don't want Man City to do it.

Be nice to see Tomori lift it, but you'll probably hit me with something AC Milan did in 1890 that I should dislike them for next. Before you do, this is Tomori personally.

I feel that you’re missing my point a bit. It’s not the time frame that’s relevant regarding Arsenal it’s the subject as it’s very similar in that success is usually bought by spending a lot of money.

McGoldrick v Bloomer isn’t relevant as McGoldrick isn’t scoring for us in the same division as Bloomer with the same number of teams and football now is a very different game physically.

Ok you don’t care about the Spainish teams. Man Utd then. £500M in debt but spending £80M on one player. Do you support them in Europe?

I wouldn’t mind if Milan won it. I’m not too fussed either way though.

  14. 6 minutes ago, David said:

No. I mean you're talking about something that happened like 120 years ago, if that's what happened.

Just like I don't dislike Derby County for doing a Nazi salute on the pitch 20 years later.

I would find it hard to hold sport grudges for that long, especially since we're also talking about events that predate even my parents.

My dislike for "Dirty" Leeds has nothing to do with the old stuff, mine is more recent with Bielsa days and I don't have any feelings towards Juventus either whilst we're at it.

I dislike Chelsea and Man City, the way the clubs are now. It's more than simply buying success, it's the knock on effect it has had and how they are seemingly untouchable.

The stockpiling of youngsters is another major issue, especially when it's clubs like ourselves that are being raided. In fairness Chelsea were punished with an embargo.

Also, it's just a standard dislike, not a deep rooted hatred where I hate the colour blue and spit on the badges if I see them.

It just means teams have always spent money to be successful. I don’t get why Chelsea & Man City doing it relatively quickly makes a difference or why you exclude Arsenal because it was so long ago tbh.

Real Madrid & Barcelona spend money like it’s going out of fashion but they’re  nearly £1Bn in debt each. Is that really better than Chelsea winning something?

  15. 10 hours ago, David said:

Nothing to do with ownership, it’s the speed in which they have bought their way to the top. Inflating transfer fees on their way which has a knock on effect down the leagues, both stock piling youngsters from young ages that have an ounce of potential.

Man City have also been found to have “sponsors” by companies that appear to have no head office or staff, continue to just get away with it.

I also don’t buy into this Pep is a genius talk, you walk into a club like Barca with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Bayern that were already dominating, Man City where it’s £50m here, £50m there. He’s not a bad manager, don’t get me wrong, just massively overhyped in my opinion.

Not a problem with new clubs breaking into the top, clubs like Brighton and Brentford you can see building their way up there, whilst they will never break into the top, it’s more impressive what they are doing than when the oil boys money rolls into town for a game of fantasy football.

PSG equally distasteful outside the UK in how they are going about their business.

I’m just putting this out there. In 1913 Arsenal literally bought promotion. They finished 5th but the authorities at the time decided they were to be promoted because their owner had spent a lot of money on the team. They’ve never been relegated since. Do you dislike them too?

Yet another club ripping off the away fans yesterday. £30 to sit, well stand, in an open-sided tent with poles across the front restricting the view. Flimsy scaffolding with no insulation below. It was bloody freezing in there, yet our terrace supporters were baking in the open sunshine.

A few portable unisex toilets that we had to share with pissed-up blokes whose aim is worse than Collins! It was disgusting.

I've been in the home stand at Bristol Rovers only last season. Great view and decent facilities.

Why are clubs allowed to get away with this? 🤷🏻‍♀️

The wheelchair area wasn’t great either Angie. 2 wooden frames (again with poles obstructing the view) with with a piece of clear corrugated plastic over the top. I don’t think it would provide much (if any) protection against rain etc.

The disabled toilets were also outside the stadium. I don’t think I’ve ever had that before at a stadium. Just bizarre.

    17. 61 points picked from a total of 78 after being in the lead.

Fleetwood and Forest Green - 29

    Port Vale - 21

    Derby and Peterborough - 17

    ...

    Barnsley - 4

Thanks. That’s quite a lot really especially in respect to where we are in the table. It’s been quite concerning too lately.

    The matches I remember are:

    Plymouth x 2 matches

    Port Vale H

    MK H

    Shrewsbury H

    Burton A

    Bristol R A

Just checking out there league position. Yeovil just above them. Wasn’t too long ago that Yeovil were spanking Forest in the League 1 play offs.

Yeovil were in The Championship with us in 2013/14 also.
