Big Bad Bob got a reaction from 1977 Ram Raider in Summer Rumour Mill
Jeez, I can't believe the comments of some on here (well I can knowing how fickle some fans are) about the lack of transfer fees being spent. Lets take a look at Sonny Bradley - captain of Luton Town when they got promoted to the Premier League. Has a lot of experience and is a great build for a centre half. We signed him on a free. Would folk be happier if we spent £1m on him?
The same applies for the other players we haven't spent a fee on. If Warne is building the team he wants without compromising or spending money, then what is the issue?

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from SKRam in Joe Ward - joined on a 3 year deal
Just having a look. He's been at Peterbrough since 2018 and they've had 6 managers (albeit 2 of them are Darren Ferguson). So new tactics each year. Not exactly a stable foundation for him. Yes he's moving, but this is a completely fresh start for him.
Welcome Joe.

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from Spacehorse in Rebuild
Already watching the clock, I mean calendar for the first day of the transfer window. Can't believe we have to wait around a month!

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from Derby4Me in Embargo and Transfer restrictions lifted
Warne has publicly said he won't hold players as prisoners when referring to Bielik. I don't see why he would act differently for Knight?

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from Jimbo Ram in Free agents in the summer
Not sure if there would be compo required due to his age, but he confirmed he is leaving Exeter this summer when his contract expires.

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from Ram1988 in Free agents in the summer
Jack Sparkes left Exeter. I've said on other threads that I rate him. Even in the match thread I mentioned his name, he came on as a sub I went 'uh oh'. Momets later he scored against us.
He's 22, with pace. He can operate as left back or left winger, so he'd be a perfect fit for a lwb.

Big Bad Bob got a reaction from Rammy03 in Reasons to still (hopefully) be positive...
Thanks Kernow. I was going to create a similar thread (Reasons to be cheerful)
Whilst there is the inevitable disappointment at missing out on the playoffs, I believe there are reasons to be cheerful:
We still have a club. Let us not forget how close we were to loosing DCFC The club is being run sustainably. We have a manager that is enthusiastic and knows how to get promoted out of this league. Under Warne and his assistants, the team appears to have been exactly that - a team. There is a togetherness. The fans have done us proud this season. Absolutely fantastic. Highest average attendance in league 1 and 19th across all divisions including the prem. And the away support. I have never seen a game where the away support outnumbers the home support, which we did this season. We get the opportunity to visit grounds again that we rarely get to visit in the league We are an attractive proposition in this league - both the club and the management team Warne now gets a full transfer window to bring in players that he would like (albeit not without some restrictions) I'm actually looking forward to next season. Let the lads have a break, come back and have a full preseason to get ready to go again.
