On Forest attendances to be fair, due to segregation they haven’t had over 30000 for years, 29,500 is probably the most they’ve had, if the away end doesn’t sell out then will get a few 28,500 attendances. It’s the same as PP being 33,567, yet I think our max attendance is 32,600.

Doesn’t excuse their s**** support though, see the we are behind you no matter what banner has been replaced (because Bournemouth proved its not true) with that rebel s***. Only has atmosphere for the big games, ones where they turn up expecting to roll teams over and don’t they boo them off the pitch. Fair weather plastics!
Seem to recall in our 11 point season the fans didn’t boo the team once until Reading scored their 4th goal on the last day and the crowd rightly turned saying “you’re not fit to wear the shirt”. Sky Sports awarded us fans of the year. Proper support.

I think the xG from this season to last season does tell us that the poor away form isn’t linked. Last year we barely created a chance or got in the opposition half away from home. This season we are creating chances but we’re not being clinical at the moment. If we creating big chances we’re giving ourselves greater possibilities of results, not creating chances means theres a bigger problem as poor form will likely be the norm. Eventually law of averages would would suggest we take our chances and results will improve. However at some point we need to start taking our chances or we risk becoming league one’s West Brom who should’ve been top 2 last season and so far this season according to xG but are nowhere near it.

Or put another way, knight at right back is better than the other right back options at the moment, in LRs opinion (which is the one that matters).
As for xG, like all statistics, it's a number. The devil is "what does that number tell you" - and xG tells you less than actual scores and points earned. But it doesn't tell you nothing, nor does it tell you everything, it is, just a number.

Think he answered that in his press conference. He couldn’t get the right backs he wanted to bring in, we missed out on two and he wasn’t going to sign any old right back for the sake of it.

Technically you are correct, however if Rosenior was replaced with a permanent manager I suspect he would leave with immediate effect.
Rosenior has not made it a secret he wants to be a manager and wants this job, losing out on the first time round to Rooney, to miss out again having been in there solo for 2 months +, where the players don’t see you as interim would be a walk of shame too far for him.
Wassall situation was entirely different and easier to return to the academy.

Sometimes a team is missing just one ingredient, which results in 'failure'. You can either wait until you get the player needed to make the system work, or adapt the system to suit the players.
I think back to the Jim Smith days, when the team needed the introduction of Stimac before all the pieces were assembled. More recently, Klopp waited to get his final piece of the jigsaw (Van Dijk). A key component of the resultant success of both sides was  the rest of the team getting use to the tactics.
Rosenior can change his tactics now, but then the whole team will be getting use to something new now and next season.
Ultimately, for a variety of reasons we failed to sign the RB and winger we had hoped for. But, we'll surely be looking to add to the squad where needed in January. As long as we're within touching distance of top 6 after the next 16 games, we should be able to finish the season strongly.

I’d leave them at home with a panda pop and a bag of crisps me.

Watch that second goal again. Absolutely no blame whatsoever can be attached to Cashin for that goal, he was on his backside as he made an outstanding block, his mates then stood still and didn’t put the challenge in, Hourihane Bird and there was another I can’t remember who, they were the ones to blame.

If there had been dcfcfans about this time in 1995 I wonder what you would’ve been saying about the Bald Eagle?! That went on until November before we started to look a decent outfit. Similar turnover of players.

8 games in, 2 months ago had 5 players, can’t pay transfer fees therefore relying on over 30s and kids some of whom might be future higher level players but have never played senior football because we can’t spend loan fees. Playing against teams at the top who are established, having been through a degree of pain to get there.

Im hoping the negativity is driven by the heat of the moment after two back to back bad performances and people will be more rational in the morning. The level of transition and upheaval has been massive we were never going to be walking the league destroying teams at this stage.
If we’re here in another month after another bunch of bad results and performances I might change my view. I’m prepared to give it more time with Liam that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be held to account but it’s easy to put the blame entirely at his door, some players have been poor these couple of games. Bird in particular, can blame tactics or say to Max if you’re going to be a marked man you have to find a way to cope with it, that’s what you need to do if you’re going to play at a much higher level which most think he can.

This is not the time to rip up everything and get a dinosaur (an experienced head) in. The teams leading the way currently in league one are managed by young progressive coaches who have been given time to mould their teams!! Well guess what we have a young progressive coach who hasn’t been given time (do not say he’s been here 3 years the squad is TOTALLY different)

Getting worse as they gel? Give it another 7 games and if it’s the same I might start agreeing with you.
You talk about our squad - is it as strong as Ipswich and Sheff Weds, absolutely not. Portsmouth and Plymouth have squads that have been built over time, an established way of playing.
It’s a new team, yes it has some good senior pros but let’s not pretend Liam has been able to completely build the squad he wants. We don’t have enough 24-27 year olds because we can’t pay transfer fees or loan fees, hence the old brigade free transfers and loans lads that have never kicked a ball in league football.

It is a squad that come the end of the season should be around or in top 6 but to expect this team to be fully firing after 8 games given the squad turnover we’ve had is just fallacy.

Why do you say the penalty was dubious.
It was a stone waller .
The fans were let down last night .
I don’t we will ever have an Igor Stimac or his likes again.
Derby need to play to their strengths and play square pegs in square holes .
    Role on Wycombe
