Some fans need to lower their expectations, Stearman would be decent in league 1. If he stands by us, we should appreciate the  bloke and stand with him. Going into this season on the back foot, with new players to come in and gel, staying up and competing is our primary goal. Anything else would be a bonus.

I just think he came back after his hols to be told by the administrators that he couldn't sign any players as we're still in administration and all his plans and hard work talking to players over the summer were blown away in that moment. 
He probably decided there and then he didn't need another season of that sort of s*** and quit on the spot. 
I don't blame him and all this talk of Dyche and tried and trusted League One managers is all just the same. Who is going to come here under the circumstances? 
Some of you need a reality check. 

It seemed Clowes was originally buying Pride Park to help get the Kirchner bid over the line. When that bid fell apart, it looked a risk that the club would go under so DC has stepped all in to untangle the problems (that he'd been privy too seeing the deal negotiated with Kirchner) and take the club on. But I don't believe Clowes has the financial wherewithal to fund the club long term - as a fan he appears to have done us a massive service but surely the plan is to steer us through choppy waters before handing us on to someone who can take us forward?
To do that it may yet be possible for Clowes and Ashley to come to an accord. If Ashley wants us. And if Clowes can get the right commitments out of him, demonstrating he's learnt from some of the mistakes he made at Newcastle.

Well, you should be on his side as he literally used to Fly British Midland planes! ?

If clowes is basically putting his money up to save the club and give others a chance, say a year, to get their house in order to buy him out, then that will do for me.
If he is doing it for a long term rebuild, and multi year ownership, then that will do for me.
Always been about the club surviving. It was clear about 2 or 3 months into this situation thst we would come very close to going under and not existing.
The fact thet someone, anyone, is willing to attempt to clean up the mess the club is in is, quite frankly, astonishing and shouldn't be overlooked.

It's obviously Byrne & Buchanan due to the argument over whether we could trigger an extension then transfer them to a new company.
If they want to go and deny us at least a minimal transfer fee then they can both piss off.
The other 5 have contracts with 1 year or more remaining already in place, so as long as there is no variation of their terms or conditions they will be transferred to the new company.

Can't blame them for wanting out. Can blame them for wanting their contracts nullified so they can leave on a free.

im very pleased with myself  I don’t feel as fit as i did in November, but I shaved about 4.5 mins off my time. This is a way faster average pace than what I’ve been setting on my 10 mile warm up runs.

Yeah, the statement is an absolute shocker - clear they have been told to secure short-term funding to put plans in place to start the season. I would imagine this means assets will be sold (or loaned) and we will be going into the season without an owner. 
A vile season awaits - god knows what state we will be in on opening day.
