Our fans were behind Rosenoir and they are behind Warne.
When Warne gets sacked after failing to win the Champions League in 2027 some of us will not be happy about it but we'll still get behind the new man.

Totally agree. We really are “mixing it up” go long or play it out .. there isn’t an edict or religious dogma. We are playing football and it’s great

One of my criticisms at the beginning when Warne came in is we all knew his style was direct and get the ball into the other half as fast as we can and try and win second balls and play from there. I think the team originally struggled with what that meant and how to execute it.
One of the key differences for me in this run is that Warne is allowing his defensive players to actually work the ball and pass it between us. It’s not as frequent as the LR style but it’s a definite shift from early Warne days.
We are constantly now in the 50-60% possession stat. Wildsmith gives a lot more short goal kicks and we definitely allow CF and EC more freedoms on the ball.

I for one am really enjoying it now because it isn’t hoofball for 90 minutes. A lot of our better goals come from the passing passages of play - Hourihane header today for instance was a nice move with the EC diagonal after some passing in the defence. If you look back over the recent goals since December a lot more are worked plays. Hourihane against Accrington, McGoldrick first goal against Forest Green. All were excellent team moves.
I feel that Warne now trusts them and he’s striking the correct balance between ball retention, long balls, direct balls into Collins and playing the triangles of play to create space. There is a decent mix in there so we are not too one dimensional.
Well done Warne and his team. This is starting to get fun.

In the glorious Brian Clough era I would go home after watching a match without singling anybody out for playing badly - we just didn't do it. The worse was criticising John McGovern for the un-human way he ran about the pitch, and Alan Hinton for the aggressive, physical way he would challenge for the bal ..................... oh wait. He was called "Gladys" for a reason.
I have fast got to the same position with this squad - they are all heroes, with each one contributing to the best of their ability. I was even glad that Colin Hourihane was in the team today, even though for a number of games he had largely been a waste of space. And it was actually a great header for the first goal!
We were so on top for much of the game, and should have scored 6 or 7, given the great opportunities we kept carving out for ourselves, but the substitutions changed everything. I know Collins seems to have trouble focussing on a barn door let alone a set of goalposts at the moment, but we certainly missed all the other un-noticed hard work he does for the team. And shifting Jason Knight perhaps wasn't the tactic of the year, either. But we won, yet again, and until that last "where's my butt plug" 15 minutes, Wildsmith was probably quite bored.
But we still won, and looking at the League table is actually quite enjoyable - getting closer to the top three and with games in hand. The future is looking good. COME ON YOU RAMS!!!

I gave you a clap for that, young Roy. But what other day? I know we have been given a penalty or two this season, but mostly we never get them, even when the foul is obvious. At lest he wasn't as bad as most of them are!

Great to see having knight back in midfield has brought the best out of hourihane and Birdinhio, his energy and tenacity to there ball playing skills. Knight is a massive player for run in now he's fit. Also what a signing korey Smith experience and versatility and then Louis Sibley on the other flank league 1 and change of position has been the making of him. Keep it going Paul warne and lads ?

Any win is a good win, and this one could be a season changer. We came from behind, carved out lots of chances, and won away from home on what no doubt was a difficult pitch against a team looking for a big scalp. Huge confidence should be drawn for all of those reasons.
