Well I’ve bought two tickets ….. I think! I selected the tickets on the phone app (keep the mention of the app in your mind for a moment), then it asked for me to assign them, and then threw me off the ticket page.

Start again!!! I assigned them, especially as mine is a Senior ticket, then clicked “Pay”, and went for the autofill option, but it didn’t, so I tried to go back to the payment page. I got the message that it was in the process of being paid, and that I could either cancel or go back to the payment page. I chose the latter, but was thrown of the site. Going back in again I go to the payment page and it us still in the process of being paid. My basket has no details of the transaction, so whether I got the tickets or not I have no idea. But O have been warned that payment may go ahead whether I got the tickets or not!
I then got a “download the DCFC app (remember that?) for a better experience!
Good grief. Is Mel in charge of online ticket sales now?

The only reason we didn't catch Burnley was a shocking bit of refereeing from Andy (or was it Bobby? Could have been either). ironically against Burnley.
He had got it in for Chris Martin, and had already booked him. Chris was then tripped in the area, the ball broke loose and we put it in the net. Madley blew the whistle, which he could only do if there had been a foul or an offside, then booked Chris for diving, which was his second yellow. And he disallowed the goal, when he should have played the advantage. But if it was a dive, then it wasn't a foul, so he shouldn't have blown the whistle, and the goal should have stood.
That goal would have put us in front against Burnley, and the way things were with Mac ! we would have gone on to win, and go above Burnley. We would have gone up automatically. And most unlike me, I don't think it was the EFL in those days, just a Madley ref.

Its amazing how after  match we have the choice to talk about all the good stuff, or moan about the poor play, or who has let us down. Today we didn't have that choice. There is absolutely nothing to complain about from a derby point of view. And yes, like many I was worried by the team selection, enforced as it was, but it turned out to be "nay worries", as they say in Scotland.
Roberts is a good option to have at right back, and Curtis was safe enough, in part because of the lack of pace up front from Bolton. I know they have lost a couple of important players up front, but I don't think pace is their game. Their tactics were to lump it to the big man, or into the channels, and it didn't work. An important factor in this was our pressing, which I don't think I have seen as effectively employed before, especially as we kept it up all match. Thank you Jason knight for making it possible, and the new fitness regime!
A couple of times I had to wonder how Bolton managed to be in 5th place because they didn't really perform. The nearest to an attempt on goal in the first half was a cross that bobbled through to Wildsmith, and their only shots on target were at 56  minutes, 73 minutes and the goal, which should have been a goal kick. But they didn't perform because we didn't let them! And we have done that many times this season, particularly since Mr Warne took up residence.
NML had his defender on toast all match long, Max Bird has stepped up a gear, and our longing for him to toughen up was answered in only the 2nd minute when he bullied a Bolton player off the ball near the corner flag. And his pass to set up the second goal was an absolute peach. I've already mentioned Knighty, and it is good to see Hourihane, who was my least favourite  putting himself about with a bit of passion - I don't know what happened, but he has been a different player since he came back from injury. I don't think there is player who can be singled out for playing badly - yet again. And it is getting to what it was like for Mac 1, and indeed the days of Brian Clough and then Dave Mackay, when we didn't wonder if we could win or draw, but how may we were gong to win by!
Today was a great football match, and I went absolutely bonkers berserk for both the goals - something I haven't done for years, because they were two tremendous goals. I was supposed to walk back to the car after the match, but got there without knowing how - almost as though I had floated all the way back! What a feeling!

Skimmed through the game again and one thing that really struck me was the noise both our lot and the Bolton faithful made. Unreal! I'm a bit meh as to crowd numbers as I've been to Premiership games with larger numbers that felt like being at the local library. Quality not quantity is my view. That said, with over 30k for a L1 game and the non-stop singing they offered we had both and that is definitely something of which to be proud.
Also, seems B4 got his prediction right after all!

Him, I go and watch Belper when Derby are away, Just recently my mate has brought his mate along to the games, Last Belper home game we were all in the Rifleman pub and for some reason the topic of refs came up, Mates mate mentioned that he met B Madley in a pub in Norway after Madley bailed from England for some twitter nonsense he posted, He said that Madley came over as arrogant and thought he was the bees knees, Now back in the UK plying his trade...again ?

It is interesting that some people have mentioned our going back to a more if a long ball type of game. We did it in the away match at Bolton as well, and both times it has gone against how we have played out other matches. Paul has switched our style if okay both times against Bolton, and is obviously how Warne knows we can take Bolton on. It means he has more than just the one plan. What a guy!

Just wanted to point out the cross from Barkhuizen for the first goal, I think it’s understated just how good it was - hit first time and in the only place it gives us a chance of scoring. One of the best I remember seeing from a player in a Derby shirt.

I thought the ref today was a cheat, I really don't like moaning about the officials, I always thought it evened out over a season but we have to accept that the League One referees and officials have been told not to favour Derby County FC.
There was at least half a dozen poor tackles on Derby players that went unpunished.
I assume the ref waved play on for a potentially career ending challenge hoping against hope that we wouldn't score from it. He must be devastated and will have to face the wrath of the EFL no doubt.
The EFL are terrified, Derby's on fire....

yet more poor decisions form the match officials. And although quite a few on here thought the ref was ok, a guy behind me in the South Stand put it better when he said "He's the best we've had all season, but it's a low bar"! It certainly is - you can only see the bar when the pitch has just been mown!
