If any fans could be classed as "entitled", it's the Everton lot.

Felt so sorry for the genuine fan: Bill Kenwright, who suffered so much abuse.

He's out of it now. RIP Bill

Everton have been run terribly for years. Criticism is justified, abuse never is.

Not sure if it helps talking about footballing issues when the bloke has died tbh.

each to their own, but as football fans, and I believe English men (apologies if incorrect), I think it's a great watch. It's certainly not self-promoting. There are many things that you cannot imagine. Like reporters asking Brooklyn, when about 4 years old, if his dad was having an affair and stuff. The press are scum. The reaction after 1998 red card was shocking. I forgot about how bad that was.

He comes out of it with a lot more love and respect from me. Not that he cares. The way Real Madrid and Capello treated him was disgusting and disrespectful, but the way he conducted himself throughout it speaks volumes.

Seriously, give it a watch. Just so you aren't one of those weird people who dismiss something they know nothing about.

ON documentaries, the Ricky Hatton one is good too, as is the Bryan Robson one. If you can find them.

I really enjoyed it, but it absolutely is self promoting and extremely PR conscious.

We only lost 6 league games from 5th of November onwards. Whilst we conceded 7 goals in the Sunderland and Burton games, we also smashed Brentford 3-0 and Cardiff (2nd) 3-1.

Doesn't change the fact that we went on a crap run that cost us any chance of automatic promotion. Typical post-Christmas collapse in form that he didn't manage to halt until towards the end of the season. And I'm a Rowett apologist - I have very fond memories of that pre-Christmas surge up the table.

Oh come on, this is news to you? Squatty potty is the greatest invention since the light bulb. Can't tell me you Londoners are in the dark?

You're not alone . In the picture, I thought it was for a toddler.

I thought the dog was toilet trained.

  5. Watched the first episode last night and found it fascinating. I only really remember him from 2006 onwards, when Brand Beckham had long been established. It was really interesting to see how "celebrity" was something that was he was targeting from very early on. He was a proper rockstar!

Seems some fans think Eustace's style was boring and negative and the new owners are playing on that to justify the change of manager they were always going to make as soon as possibly after Rooney left DC, with their statement conveniently mentioning 'ambition' wanting to bring someone in to implement a  "no fear" approach throughout the club.

A lot of Brum fans have compared it to the time when they sacked Rowett and brought Zola in.

Translate --- He was sacked. Please, please, please, no one suggest he comes back to us as manager.

Doesn't sound like it. Sounds like he's left for the Brum job.

I keep seeing this lack of interest in the academy players for the first team accusation thrown at warne , do we not realise our academy has had its heart ripped out just as much as the rest of the club ,,, perhaps we are trying to bring in young players and build an under 21 team that has a base and some stability without the need to keep pulling them into the first team for a while , from what I hear our under 21 s are getting beaten game on game , maybe there’s a thought process of building a regular competitive team there again , getting bashed up regularly is not a good confidence builder in young players to step up to first team football, we are rebuilding the WHOLE club from the brink of extinction and bare bones 🤷🏻‍♂️

While you make a very fair point, Warne has basically admitted to, up until recently, not being particularly interested in the U21s and academy. I believe he resolved to watch more of them at the recent fans forum, though I'm sure someone who was there can remember more accurately.

The similarities with Derby 07-08 are there to see. They started the opening day defeat to Crystal Palace with a weaker team than they had in the Championship.

And Palace battered them that day.

It was mentioned after the Spurs game that no other team had faced as many shots so far this season. They narrowly lost games, but they were outclassed.

And this 8-0 is reminiscent of when Derby lost 0-5 at home to West Ham which just burst that feel good factor bubble.

Sheffield United’s only saving grace is that Luton and Burnley are effectively Championship sides too. There are points to be won against them, and throw in a lucky win over a Wolves, Bournemouth or Forest at home and they will creep over 11 points.

Imagine this team in the Premier League today though. It would warrant criminal charges.

Was just gonna say this. Maybe he’s ill, maybe there’s a personal issue he’s dealing with. There are many reasons that people don’t go to work. He is just a normal person after all, being on the radio doesn’t change that.

Obviously take this with a pinch of salt, but someone on Twitter said they’d spoken to him at a game recently and that it was something to do with Radio Derby “politics”.
