Will Hughes Hair got a reaction from Wolfie20 in Summer Transfer Suggestion Thread 2023
I do believe you love Warne more than I loved the quite frankly fabulous Will Hughes 😂
Here’s another view on the key point. Warne is trying to deflect away from a recruitment policy which is looking increasingly parochial and damaging.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to RoyMac5 in Jozwiak Payment
Because as I said maybe we'd have been allowed to pay it over 2 or more seasons? If you needed the cash to pay for a car now it wouldn't help if you'd only got enough for a bus pass over two years would it! 😄

Will Hughes Hair reacted to sage in Summer Transfer Suggestion Thread 2023
None of his permanent signings have played a competitive match for Derby yet, so that is a ridiculous argument.
Yet again we are going down the strawman route. Being disappointed we can't spend £300k on a player after bringing in £2-3m in fees isn't espousing £6m on Bradley Johnson.
I'm tired of anything other than fawn eyed adulation being treated as treason or heresy.

Yeah I know, but look what we could have achieved last season, we can better that this I think with a more balanced squad. Imagine if Didzy had been injured last season...you can only play the hand you're dealt. Plus we know that Warne wants more players in. #COYR

Who has suggested spending millions on players?
It's possible to be a little concerned at squad size and CF quality without wanting us to be reckless. In fact, I would imagine it is most supporter's opinion.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to Rich3478 in Paul Warne on Sportscene for full hour 1st August
I find him pretty likeable, but can imagine it getting very annoying if we’re struggling.
was a bit in the middle to him last season, some positives but some quite fixable negatives. Not sure we’ve addressed them.
needs a good season.

Alfie May would have been the pne for me but that ship has sailed now. Rather Waggy than Rhodes.

Don't question Warne, it's just not worth it.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to sage in Is our budget any bigger than last year?
We have got the most income in this division, but no one has espoused reckless spending.

Will Hughes Hair got a reaction from Eoghan1884 in Jordan Rhodes - gone to Blackpool
Maybe it’s the HTFC committee that stopped Rhodes attending his medical?
-
Will Hughes Hair reacted to rsmini in Jordan Rhodes - gone to Blackpool
At least Jordan Rhodes wasn’t brought onto the pitch before a game

If he was due for a medical and didn't show, he can do one. Not welcome. We're building a tight squad who'll have each others back and work for the team. No place for liars in that, and I'd be disappointed if Warney persevered. Next.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to DCFC1388 in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
Person who told me about Washington & Bradley being done has told me Waghorn is done now & it was Rhodes that Warne was on about when he said the liar comment, Rhodes deal was pretty much done 2 weeks ago before 'complications'

Will Hughes Hair reacted to Ghost of Clough in Max Bird
Bristol are selling a CM for over £20m, having alreqdy rejected 1 bid matching that amount. He's 19 and got only 1 goal and 5 assists from a more advanced position than Bird played last season.
Due to his worth to us with regard to our current CM options and difficulty getting other players in and our aim for promotion, I wouldn't accept anything below £5m.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to Ghost of Clough in Max Bird
Not got in the England team ahead of Rice or Phillips who cost a combined £160m?
1 goal and 5 assists for a player who spent most of the season as a DM... Do you know how mamy young CMs bettered Bird's assists last season? No L1 CM aged 23 or younger got more from open play last season. 2 players in L2 did, Watt (8) and Brieley (6), none in the Champiomship, and only Willock (6) got more in the PL.

Will Hughes Hair reacted to Nuwtfly in Max Bird
We haven’t replaced McGoldrick, Bielik or Knight, so I wouldn’t be too confident that Bird would only be sold if a replacement is already lined up.
-
Will Hughes Hair reacted to Leeds Ram in Max Bird
We shouldn't be selling him unless it's for upwards of 4 million pounds which we can use throughout the squad. I'm honestly not sure what we're doing with recruitment atm, we started off well but up front it's been so sparse.

Knight wasnt out of contract, he had a year left on his deal like Bird does

Will Hughes Hair reacted to r4derby in Max Bird
I’m not sure he plays less minutes. Liam was a big fan of him when here, so he obviously would be spending money to become part of his main XI.
