    Get well soon, @Day.
I thought the celebrations were terrific - such powerful emotions as I watched from above.
Didn't leave until after the trophy celebrations.
Admittedly I couldn't see a lot of it, but you could just feel the passion - and relief.
Well done, Derby County fans. 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great day that will live long in the memory.  Early goal settled the nerves and even though we lost our way a bit in the middle of the 1st half, they never looked like scoring.  I don’t really remember Wildsmith being troubled other than the tip over the bar.
Really nice that Bird got his standing ovation and hugs from the players as he went off.  Cash-in ran half the length of the pitch to hug him.  Adams was immense and my MOTM.  He was everywhere.  A bit like the shopkeeper in Mr Ben - as if by magic, Adams appeared (one for the over 40s!!).  And David Clowes got his well deserved moment too.
It’s nice to read all of tweets from ex-players today, keep posting them.
Fantastic end to a great season 🐏.

I want to give some credit to the Carlisle fans, too. Being from an extremity of the country, albeit the complete other end, I understand that it can be hard to travel to watch your team often.
I thought their fans were great, even after the pitch invasion and their players quickly dashed off the pitch, they still stayed there singing away and I noticed quite a few of our fans on the pitch applauding that.
They weren’t a bad side either, certainly better than their points and position suggest. They played some decent stuff and added to what was a great day all round.
The only downside is that there were probably some fans who could’ve got tickets but missed out because there were some empty seats in their end. I get it’s hard with the segregation, but I thought just over 31,000 was a little disappointing given how many wanted to be there.

B4 was Daniel Beavis. A lifelong DCFC supporter who died suddenly in November, just hours after attending the Crewe away match. He was only 38 and had held a season ticket for almost 30 years. B4 was his username on this forum where he was well know for his unique take on all things DCFC and his kindness to others. Despite the situation of the club or inconsistency of results, he was unbelievably positive. Dan had learning difficulties and despite what he may have typed on here at times, he was actually quite vulnerable and his world was quite small. His whole world revolved around his beloved Derby County. His death has been a shock to us but his passion and love for DCFC has left an effect on many who knew him, in person or virtually. He was also my brother.

How’s everyone feeling today? It was real high at the beginning of the match and the second half. I did have walk around the pitch where I found some of my new DCFC friends. I shed a tear for B4 and sprinkled a few more ashes on the centre spot with my dad. We had several people come up to us to say hello and pass on condolences and congratulations for B4, which was lovely.
I don’t want to sound like a party pooper but I’m feeling really flat today. Watching the football and the excitement of the race for promotion has been a welcome distraction and a tribute to Dan. It might just be my body and emotions telling me I need a breather over the summer.
Maybe we need a thread with our highlights of the season and celebration pics? You all amazing at picking me up. I saw a post on another thread earlier that said ‘when are we signing Mbappe?’ 😂 That made me smile

Two strange things today that you just know in your gut are meant ,,,, I rarely look at the video screen , I don’t know why I looked but I did and there it was ,,,, be more B4 and a short while later I looked over again and I saw a solitary ballon floating high above the stand above the video screen ,, don’t give a poop if anybody thinks I’m a soppy old bugger or it’s just coincidental,,, but when you know you know ,,, thanks for being around us all B4 ❤️

Good luck for this afternoon, I hope you get it over the line for a number of reasons, and the odds are in your favour.
I hope you don't mind an outsider saying this, and I'm sure you all know this, but regardless of any euphoria or disappointment tomorrow, you'll all still be proud supporters - as b4 was, and is. As someone who read on here for a while before I registered/posted and saw lots of his comments when you were in a bad place;  I stand by the fact that whoever we support, we could all do well by being a bit more like him, when it comes to our clubs.

Derby4Me reacted to Nuwtfly in Closure 🐏
Not sure if I am alone in this today but I feel an overwhelming sense of closure after yesterday’s achievement. What a relief to be back in the Championship. But it’s more than that.
It feels like all the hurt over the last couple of years: the administration, the points deductions, the financial turmoil, the humiliation, the relegation; it feels like we can finally turn the page on that sordid chapter of our history. Like we can move on.
I’m not sure why I’m sharing this, but it feels even more personal for me than that, too. In the summer of our relegation, I lost my grandmother to cancer. She was the major connection to Derby for me. My whole ritual of going to the matches involved staying with her for the weekend. For some reason Derby County, the city of Derby, the supporters bus that would pick my Grandad and I up from outside The Gate in Swanwick, the cone of chips before the game, all just seemed to have disappeared.
I know it sounds strange but I feel like I lost my connection to the club in so many ways that summer.
Yesterday, watching everyone celebrating and the tears and David Clowes and Ed Dawe’s’ tears, just felt like closure. The end of the trauma and the start of something new. It felt like moving on.
Thank you, Mr Clowes, for all of that 🐏

Hard to argue that Warne isn't the best manager for League 1. 5 seasons, 4 promotions and a 7th place. As a record it is stunning. He also did it with an underfunded Rotherham team and Derby side severely restricted by post administration sanctions.
We've also not looked particularly good all season. We've not dominated, but have generally been just good enough. Stratospheric improvements in set pieces, fitness and desire and flexible organisation have been what Warne has bought to the club. We've been very hard to beat often ground out results.
Warne has absolutely earned the right to lead us into the Championship. Will his strengths work for us in the Championship? No idea, but looking forward to finding out. COYR

I really like him and always have. I love a man manager, because lack of ability can often be overcome by a desire to perform. I’d certainly play my heart out for him. Decent, honest man. Thanks Paul 👏

Well done to everyone who stuck by Paul Warne.
Especially, well done and thank you to David Clowes who held his nerve when it probably could have been easy to give in to the noisy minority.
The records we have broken this season will remain for a long time and days like yesterday don't come around too often.
Warne has more than earned his shot at Championship football next season.

Congrats and thanks Paul warne , everything I want in a derby manager, class act,
some want football played in a certain way and have no interest in anything other than that ,even if it took us 10 years to get out of this league , that’s they’re choice and it’s ok with me ,
me ? I want seasons like this one , days like yesterday and owners , managers , players I can respect and feel one with in shared good and not so good times ,
I reckon both me and warnie are going to be walking our dogs today with a big smile and spending time with family knowing the value of both yesterday and today ,,,, hats off to Paul warne ,,, a proper football bloke and a proper person 🐏😀👏👏👏👏👏🙏

7th manager in 140 years to get us a promotion? Record points haul? Most away wins? Managed to get through the interviews without saying he wished it was his previous club?
If there is anything to forgive...it's forgiven.

I really didn’t like his early interviews, which were a bit cringeworthy IMHO. But over the last year they have got better. This one I really enjoyed. Very self deprecating, and becoming clear why the players have responded so well to his approach.
One thing that is clear - his insistence on bringing in “players with character”, which many laughed at when he kept mentioning it, has been the key to our promotion.
It will be interesting to see how he develops as a manager in the championship. My suspicion is that we’ll retain a strong core of hard work and running, but it will be augmented with a little more flair.

I wanted him gone after the Stevenage game. Never have I been so thoroughly delighted to be proven so wrong. He was tasked with a singular objective, get us up, and he's done it. Scenes like those today.....they're the stuff of Derby folklore.
