Bit of relief on this crappy day , just overheard my dad screaming down the phone at someone, he’s only gone and got through to  the EFL’s head office ??

I know how this sounds but at this point it’s probably worth going nuclear. Admin release a statement saying no progress is being made, unless Wycombe and Bora drop their lawsuits or the EFL intervention the club goes into liquidation next week.
Either they back off, we fall into liquidation or someone actually takes on the lawsuits. Either way we get an answer.
IMO the admin have done their job, they have everyone around the table, the EFL and other clubs are stopping this so rather than death my a thousand cuts, lets just chop off the head or maybe escape last second.
In business you have to make things happen, at the moment we’re just pussyfooting around and nothing is being done. You have to say it and follow through.

I don’t believe this is the fault of the administrators. They’ve not been the most transparent admittedly but as Owen Bradley alluded to, this is purely the fault of the efl ‘moving the goalposts’ just as we were ready to move forward.

it’s actually laughable that the efl maintain that they are “continuing to try and find a solution with Derby”. How can they be putting 100% effort into finding a solution when they’ve got their tongue right up gibsons backside?

No …I’m pretty certain both Boro and Wycombe cannot be creditors as nothing has been settled they are though trying to force us to negotiate a settlement …I personally would tell them parasites to FO

I want Rooney to come on air tomorrow and tell us like it is.
Any fine he would receive for tarnishing the game (as if that's possible), he could afford no problem.
I want him to rip into the EFL. The greatest striker our country has ever produced, needs to tell the world of football what he thinks about men in suits who have never kicked a football in anger targeting one of the founding members of the football league.

Yeah, OB has replied to several tweets backing the job that the administrators are doing and that he trusts them. We'll just have to wait for the next official update as frustrating as it may be rather than reports that Rooney has turned all Tyson Fury on them.

We kinda know this but no buyer is coming forwards because of the threat of action from Boro and Wycombe.
The morality of their owners - and the EFL - that would allow any possibility that a founding member of the Football League to be liquidated is horrendous.
    I have lost all faith.
The EFL, club owners, the Premier League, the whole bleddy lot of them are killing "the people's game".

They don't want is to go out of business, they, like Gibson want us relegated, they are doing their best to ensure we can only field a weak team. Soft loans will be used to keep us going as a "business" however that business will be reduced to its lowest competitive level. They are forcing a punishment on us due to the fact they look mugs for agreeing our amortisation method/ground sale etc.i would call it"constuctive relegation".

This is what I don't get.
The preferred bidder is the one who will fund the club for the rest of the season.
Surely if we are allowed to announce a preferred bidder they can show proof of funds?
Are the EFL allowing us to name a preferred bidder?

Gibson and EFL in cahoots and have got their way.
I’m beginning to think why would we want to be part of a league that doesn’t want us to survive and play. Had enough of them all.
Continually being restricted until we fold.  What happened the idea you only get penalised once for a mistake. We are being penalised continually.
i think they want to ensure we are relegated by whatever means they have at their disposal, but are pushing us to the brink.

    No
But I also think that given Rooney`s comments yesterday, Quantuma need to come out and issue a statement explaining why Rooney was "misled" into believing it was due to be today.
Unless of course, Rooney is simply trying to engineer himself a move?

We could also get a 15 point deduction if we fail to pay Football creditors in full and other creditors a Min 25p in the £1

just on the Wycombe and Boro "football creditors" thing.
At present they are not football creditors, or creditors of any kind.
    But!
If the club comes out of insovancy, and their claims are found to have merits either by negotiation or in court, they are due to be paid in full by a solvent business - insisting on a football creditors status does not improve the position of Boro or Wycombe or legitimise their claims and there can be no legal basis to regard them as creditors.
They might be regarded as businesses we are in dispute with, but that is not the same thing.

And if it is then that’s the next stage of discussions, not much more the admins could do. It would be another curveball difficult to plan for.
What I didn’t pick up was what are the EFL reviewing? The preferred bidder/exit plan, or proposed signings? Or both?
On the player signings - this should simply be do these signings comply with the business plan so should be straightforward. If they are blocked then clearly EFL are moving the goalposts again.

Read that Twitter feed from Football Insights. Nothing to see here, just a re-hash of old speculation from Nixon and Percy, he even seems to have been questioned on diallo and responded with “sorry I’m not following it closely”
We should only pay attention to BAWT updates, Quantuma updates and Rooney updates. The last ones were positive, if the next ones are not then we should be more concerned.

The admins have already said the ongoing delays are nothing to do with the boro and Wycombe claims and the continued press stories referring to it aren't true.

The potential for other clubs getting into trouble is why we have to keep fighting to pick up every point right up to the end of the season - just in case !!

When the likes of Stoke write down the value of players by £30 million etc due to covid = ( make it up) and think they are clever - you know trouble is coming and it will come from the likes of Luton Barnsley etc with very low cost base who will say hang on a minute

Nope they will change it because they will all vote for it !
the Bristol CEO is saying they would take legal action if they were done because covid and it was an act of God and maybe it was everywhere but Derby because we went into administration and said it was an act of God - all the other clubs said no it wasn’t you should have prepared for it ! - I hope our new owner ( if we are allowed one) gets his legal people focused on this one because they have been throwing stones in our greenhouse.

They wouldn’t be able to, especially after all of the sabre rattling by Gibson. He may actually cause his own downfall as the EFL will feel obliged to uphold the rules he’s been screeching about.

Need an owner and maybe we can start some legal action against them both! Bristol City beat us and look to be cheating FFP. Derby have had their punishment at this stage so surely we should get the 3 points back or Bristol City lose a load of points. Boro next .....or will Gibson ask his chums at the EFL to let his club off ?? Maybe if they’re cheating FFP, they should not be allowed to field their highest earners against us. Let’s sue them....

Can we sue them both? Their points should be deducted this season, not next, and that might materially affect us getting relegated...
