Firstly, I don't think Warne will scrap his preferred style of play after just one league game. Secondly, I think we will probably start with the same team as against Wigan (as long as everyone is fit). I'm less sure of my second point and it may depend on the improving fitness levels of certain players.
Regarding the style of play, as I've not spoken to most of the fans, I've no idea what the majority prefer. Personally, I love watching wing backs so by definition I prefer 3 at the back. We certainly didn't have the players to make it work last season and a back 4 was the better option but it's a new season and we have to give it a chance to work.

Yes of course football today is different from yesteryear. The management styles of Brian Clough, Bill Shankly et al almost certainly wouldn't work today. And, football in general has less patience these days.
If I go back to the Jim Smith appointment. I didnt want him. I thought he was too old and I called for his sacking after the first few games. Boy, was I wrong. One of us will be wrong this time. Time will tell who.

There was an element of humour in my post. I am fully aware of both the footballer and cricketer. Both showmen in their own ways. What I wouldn't give for Rodney Marsh, the footballer, in our team today. I am not a betting man but even I would be tempted to put down some money on us walking League 1 this season with him in the team.

I wouldn't risk any players who are likely starters on Saturday but I don't think that is allowed. I see the point in allowing the back 3 to get used to each other but did Cashin pickup a knock on Saturday? I've not seen anything to confirm that but it will be interesting to see if he starts.
I think we can all agree that NML will not play as he definitely picked up a knock on Saturday. Vickers might get a run out but I still expect Wildsmith to play against Burton.
