Priorities is the league, plus we and any other team outside the Premiership have a very slim chance of winning it. I also think, if we are due a defeat, lets have it in the cup and bounce back in the league.

This is spot on and I was saying it all through the game.
Jozwiak did more to open their defence in the ten minutes he was on the pitch than Morrison and Lawrence (great early shot apart) did all match. Too much sameness earlier and not enough incisive passing.
Love Ebosele for his runs but he has to work on his final ball. Keep going young man, it will come, especially when you have more movement in the box ahead of you.
I think Rooney might have given in to pressure from CKR and Morrison to start them today. Glad he did it in the cup and not the league because now he can revert to movement up front instead next week. Trust your instincts, Wayne - they were right! 
Our fans get a B- today, plenty of us but never really got going. Too many more interested in refilling their "coffee" cups than watching the game. It didn't help that Coventry played the wrong way round for us, so we were attacking at the far end second half. Shocking attendance from Coventry really.

It is and such a shame. In the good old days if you happened to play the same team on the Wednesday in the league and then on the Saturday in the Cup, there would be a bigger attendance and excitement at the cup game. Since the Premier League and Champions League it has become pretty much an irrelevance with reserve sides and poor attendances ?

But the academy is providing a conveyor belt of talent that will save us in having to buy players or enable us to sell for big money. The last thing that I would cut….

So in a matter of a couple of weeks, the consensus on here has been;
1) CK was a fantastic moneybags option who could take us to the top. 
2) CK was a clueless **** who wasn’t interested anyway.
3) Appleby and co were a far better option because they had the no how.
4) Appleby and co, who?
5) Mike Ashley is wonderful and has the money we need and the no how (even though he only seems to have said he might be interested)
What a fickle bunch are we!

Every time we get a throw in 20 yards from their corner flag its ends back with alsop within 10 seconds. I don't get it. Why are we so negative. No movement up front whatsoever. No desire from the front players to make space to receive the ball. No options for the midfielders to pass forward other than festy down the right. Poor so far. Needs a big improvement second half. 

1st half is telling us what I think we already knew, CKR, Lawrence and Morrison on from the start doesn't really work, not enough energy

To be fair, not sure I would be making too much effort if l had this tied to my wrist.
