I fear the inevitable. 9 months on absolutely no closer to a resolution. I alone cannot believe how this whole mess has been managed from top to toe.
Everyone has to carry a portion of blame wrt the process. MM 100% for getting us in to this mess but Q, EFL, MM have made a digs dinner of things since Sept.
Imo Q now know they have completely ballsed up and are looking for the quickest roure out. All the time lost dealing with CK and racking up more debt during that time has knocked even more value off the club and bidders are rightly offering even less.
MM won't budge to lower his ask so we reach impasse. There will be a final deadline sometime around October and we will miss it and that will be that.
In the meantime the club will lose every match heavily as they won't be able to bring players in. Rooney will already have walked.

FWIW, I don’t think Kirchner got this far down the line with any intention of pulling out. I genuinely believe that he was intent on buying Derby County, have Rooney as manager and probably get us into a decent position in the champ before selling us for a decent price (or atleast that was the plan). He’s probably run into the same problem Alonso and BZI fell into that it’s difficult to get money that’s not traceable into the country. Or at least it’s not without people higher up who are on your side willing to get it pushed through. Especially in the current climate.
The intention was right, in terms of options it was probably worth persuing but we are currently in a difficult position where we need local short term investment and a serious bidder in place.

My patience has run out now for CK. Quantuma as well. We HAVE TO MOVE ON!!! Enough is enough. Get all the proposed bidders together (on line) and give them an ultimatum. Whoever is the highest bidder by Thursday evening at 5pm ( not Friday as another day is wasted) then you are the one to move forward. No CK bullshitting, no Q (having to ask an approval from MM) sidestepping. GET IT FRIGGING DONE FOR ALL THE DCFC FANS WHO ARE CURRENTLY TEARING THEIR HAIR OUT. WHAT A FRIGGING LAUGHING STOCK WE HAVE BECOME!!!! Still UTR!

Really pleased for him even if I am very sad to see him go. Always sounded like a manager both when a Sky pundit & during his time as assistant here.
