Can we stop this Ashley saviour rhetoric please. If the bloke had made a serious offer he would be our owner but he clearly hasn’t. The admins are not ignoring him nor is Mel pulling the strings, he simply has not made an offer that will satisfy creditors. Until he is willing to do so, the admins should ignore him.

he is not transferring Crypto. I have just listened to the Alan Nixon on talksport and that was interesting.  The issue with CK is that he is transferring an amount larger than anything he has done before (red flag) and from the US to a country he probably has never transferred to before (red flag).
I would imagined a compliance officer of a US bank has made a SAR (suspicious activity report) to the FinCen (the US money laundering reporting establishment). In the UK we would send our SAR to the NCA (National Crime Agency).
The issue with this is that your bank transfer is blocked for a period (short) of time to allow an investigation. It will then be released. If you ever have a payment that is held up by a bank for about 5 days then that is what has probably happened.
Also it is a criminal offence to tell your client (CK) if you have made a SAR, so he will be well frustrated.
If it hasn't gone to the FinCen then the release should be quicker as the bank will be asking for potential proof of where his funds have come from and where they are going.  
The US banks are amongst the most stringent in the world due to the large fines given out by US regulators.
I think we just need to be patient as I'm not sure how much CK can tell us.

So, my summary at the moment.
Nixon is getting info from someon like Stretford to put out calming messages about the deal and support the CK bid going through.
Dawes getting info from the Ashley camp trying to shake things up and put pressure on the timescales of the CK bid in an effort to gazump.
Percy is possibly being fed by the Ashley camp, but is more likely getting info from the EFL being twitchy that the funds haven't cleared still. Correlates with what Big Trav was saying that Ashley has also been in contact with EFL but not Admins.
As fans, we just need to realise that reacting to any of this will just make the situation seem more extreme. Until we have something official that isn't through a media mouthpiece we should allow the process to take its course. People going on twitter and directing messages to CK are certainly not helping, but hopefully it doesn't mean he loses confidence and derails the work that's gone in so far.

I've kept quiet on this as thought best to see how things play out. 
One thing a lot of people seem to be completely forgetting on this, is that contracts have been exchanged, conditional on the ground sale.
Therefore, unless it is the ground sale that stops the transaction from progressing, CK is on the hook.
Not sure why anyone thinks he would exchange contracts if he did not have the money to back it up.
Out of interest, to anyone that has spent the day abusing CK, how will you now react to him if the purchase goes ahead?

If he had gone to another league 1 side then I would be gutted, however stoke can offer him a level of football that we cant. We all know the reasons why, but if he wants championship football there is nothing the club can do.

As I understand it, Quantama announced they WOULD end the exclusivity period, not that they HAVE.
The money may have cleared in time to stop that process.

Surely I'm misunderstanding you. Dawes made a mess of an already messy situation, by making leading comments on the reason why the take over has yet to be completed. Nixon from many hours ago stated: There is a money holdup in the shape of provenance checks. Then all day long, he has kept stating the same thing: Nothing has changed, only that one thing still needs sorting. Even just a few minutes ago, Nixon again answering the same questions from people: Nothing has changed, still need the funds to be cleared. 
Nixon has been the most level headed Journo/voice today (and many days) when it has come to this particular Derby saga. 

It means what has been the case for a while, there’s lots of rumour and speculation, no official word from the parties involved in the transaction. Ed Dawes may have been correctly informed by his sources, Nixon may have, the opposite could also be true, only the people involved know the actual truth so until there is official word we have to carry on waiting and choose what to believe and what to take with a pinch of salt.

Thing is if the funds have cleared and it's done then it wasn't really a Rollercoaster day..it was just a day where there were certain reporters pushing for a sensational story that was never there.
This fast food media can be a total nightmare at times and has whipped elements of the fan base into a feeding frenzy..

Agree - there is simply nothing in it for someone like CK to string everyone along this far if he doesn't have the means to close the deal.

How does that work? He raises it from "bloke no one has heard of" to "bloke everyone knows as a tyre-kicking fantasist"?

Or Quantuma are doing something lots of us have been crying out for at various points throughout this process and are now taking a practical step that means Kirchner can still complete the deal provided the funds appear AND/OR other interested parties can now come to the table where they were unable to before.

From my view he must have the money but it's whether or not the story about anti-money laundering checks delaying it so much is actually true or if he's had second thoughts at the last minute and no longer wishes to transfer the money. I just can't see a scenario where he's not got the money but has made it through all the checks with Quantuma, the EFL and anyone else required and has also spent a small fortune on lawyers. 

Hypothetically -
If CK has transferred the money and it has been subjected to enhanced Money Laundering checks for whatever reasons (Authorities untrusting of Crypto origins, because its a person>company transfer rather than a hedge fund or trust fund purchasing us, or whatever) and it turns out that the delays were outside of his control. What will people do then?
I've seen comments of 'He will need to rebuild bridges if it does go through', I think its the opposite way around. All of this hysteria today and nobody has yet substantiated any source or proof. Some of the accusations and vitriol towards CK today has been shocking. I understand *fully* how stressful this whole situation has been for Derby fans, but personally, I wouldn't want to talk to the media either if I had been turned on like Derby fans have done today, especially if it turns out that it was delayed by external checks after all.
If this does go through, then our fan base has a lot of groveling to do.
Obviously if he has been messing us around this whole time, then fair enough, go for it. But as hard as it is to wait, I wont be aiming both barrels until I hear an explanation form the horses mouth.

If CK really is genuine, and confident about this going through, then he has nothing to worry about. By the looks of it, if/once the money goes through, the deal is done. We've wasted a week waiting for it, it's not feasible to keep waiting just in case it doesn't happen. Allowing others the opportunity to progress their deal while we wait to see if the money clears or not makes much more sense than waiting for it to fall through and then panicking. CK can have no complaints at that either, he's had his go at it, so it either completes soon, or somebody else has their turn.

Personally I have everything crossed that CK pulls a rabbit out of a hat and completes the deal tomorrow.
We've come so far down this road that I've got used to him becoming our owner. I like the fact that Rooney seems happy with him, I like the fact that the people he is putting in charge are top drawer and I like the fact that if its done tomorrow I can look forward to the fixtures coming our and the season starting.

Just give him the benefit of the doubt for a minute.  He’s been on the golf course all day to walk off and find a camera and microphone shoved in his face.  I’m not sure what he’s expected to say and it could have been agreed to keep quiet until after the EFL meeting.  He has told BBC he expects to complete today.
I don’t think he’s ever done media, other than the Rams TV interview.  Certainly not radio or TV so he won’t be used to it.  Pretty sure something will come out tonight, through one source or another.  Even Ed Dawes said it’s a changing picture and it call be different this evening.
