DRBee got a reaction from Hector was the best in Match Thread: vs Northampton Town (a)
We have retreated to the failings of the Exeter and Charlton games. Down to the manager and his obsession with Bradley and an
over-defensive back 3 formation ( which can be attacking as in our recent wins). In hindsight the loss of Gayle seems so significant. Warne says in his interview that we didn't get the wing backs forward enough -- whose fault is that?

There's a fatal fallacy with making this comparison. In your example the two students performances are independent of each other. In a football match one side's play directly affects the performance of the other team. The reason Bolton didn't score yesterday has much to do with our defending - when Wildsmith makes a superb save its part of OUR good performance. You state in another post that Wildsmith made "two worldies" as though that is just luck rather than good performance. Those saves were not just "rub of the green".
But much more importantly, your pedantic posts have nothing to do with the joy of watching football.

This
We nullified an attack which had scored for fun the previous game. We scored from a well worked set piece. We defended excellently and as a team. We have magnificent support. We won 😄
I said to my grandchildren at the final whistle this is why we come to football for moments like this…I’m still buzzing COY🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏

Whatever the system there is no excuse for the two early instances he was brushed of the ball, or the amount of time he spends moving
around to areas where he has little effect. Korey Smith has been impressive since he came back from injury.

Did you criticise Jason Knight when he was falling about all over the pitch to get us a free kick , or more distantly Chris Martins antics? Don't think you can say that diving is a feature of Hourihane's game and doubt he couldn't have foreseen that a sending off would result ( if it had been in the penalty area perhaps).
There is a big total of fouls against us this season when opposition players have dropped to the floor after zero or minimal contact.

I do wonder about some on here. We were miles better than them and I lost count of how many cheaty little fouls they put in tonight that weren't carded. We were also the only side that looked like scoring all night. Does anyone really think they deserved a point tonight? I really don't get the mardiness from some quarters.

You need to think more carefully as to why Tommo isn't getting on the pitch more , not rocket science (Korey Smith does far more with the ball)
