what news that is to wake up to the nightmare is nearly over and like any normal football fan I can dream of us winning the champions league again.. but in all seriousness this is for the city, the behind the scenes workers, the supporters and the  wider family. We can operate as normal and now set a plan to get us back where we belong.

Definitely more travelling this season, around 5,400 miles round trips for me plus whoever comes up from league two. Then Possibly FA cup, league cup and PJ trophy .
I managed to do every game home and away last season,
home games including championship cup games and friendlies 1,040 miles
away games including championship cup games and friendlies 5,268
    total miles 6,308.
I enjoyed last season especially the away games although it was hard at times , the camaraderie from our fans  kept my spirits up, best summed up by Vinnie as big Chris, it’s been emotional.

    Yes, a bit from Percy
"It is understood Ashley agreed a deal with Morris in December, which included the purchase of Pride Park and funds for manager Wayne Rooney in the January transfer window, but negotiations then collapsed"
    ...
which doesn't really make sense as it implies Ashley struck a deal with Mel for the club, not just the stadium.
It wasn't Morris' club to sell in December though! Any such deal was an impossibility in the first place so of course 'negotiations collapsed'.  I mean, come on, really Percy?
However it does says a lot about the snidey way Ashley is going about things, trying to influence the process without even entering it.

FWIW I think MM wants MA to be the PB and will do anything in his power to get Kirchner off the scene. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't someone say that MM and MA had agreed a deal but it fell through before Christmas?  I believe MM has his hands tied with the loan from MSD on the ground. He may be hoping MA comes up with a better offer. This is all conjecture as noone knows the actual problems. I believe the takeover won't be until a few weeks before the start of the season as this will rumble on and on. We hopefully will still have a club but perhaps without WR and most of our talented young players. I was normally a glass half full one myself but unfortunately I can't see an outcome that will satisfy many people. As long as there is a DCFC I will be there whatever league we are in. UTR!

Congratulations this morning to the EFL. You have got your ultimate wish which was to relegate Derby County. What you fail to realise is that in doing so you've punished thousands of innocent people whilst the real villain has walked away scot- free.
You have a fit and proper persons test that you apply for your members clubs. It's long overdue that someone should apply something similar to yourselves and your shambolic organisation.
Now that Middlesbroughs last throw of the dice has failed we will all be watching on with interest to see if you apply your rules as forcefully as you did with ourselves. Hopefully so will our clubs lawyers.
Enjoy your remaining time in office. Your days must surely be numbered. Your spiteful, condescending and unempathetic nature will ultimately be your undoing.

The whole team, management and us supporters are all winners in this mixed up, horrendous, beautiful, awe inspiring season. Each and everyone of us should look in the mirror this morning and be proud, not of what was inevitable (ie relegation) but proud to be associated with a team, a name,a club which a lot of 'other' teams fans reluctantly accept that they would like to be a part of. This is DCFC and I wouldn't change it for the world! UTR!

    That's right... 12:30 Kick Off.
Having started my matchday thread career with a 1-0 defeat in the reverse of this fixture a couple of months ago, it'll be great to end the season with a two game winning streak, so do me proud, you big beautiful Rams, as you did so majestically at Blackpool! ?
Big day all round, for this one...
A not-so-fond-farewell to the Championship... close on 30k in the stadium... Quite possibly jumping around, despite going down... and sombreros galore, as we rightfully pay homage to the Div. 1 Champions of 1971/72... now 5 decades on, but never to be forgotten.
Those particular heroes will of course be parading on the pitch, and we owe it to them, and the club, to arrive extra early.  This is not a time for apathy.  These Guys ARE Derby County History!  Let's be there for them, as they were for us!
Make it loud.  Make it proud.  Make it memorable... and then repeat for our present day heroes.  Two celebrations in one?  What a club! ?
May The Championship weep in our absence!

Oh yeah... something, something football too... something team selection, something tic-tacs, something, something whatever, etc, etc.

F#CK THE EFL, DERBY & BLACKPOOL FANS CHANT TOGETHER TO SHOW WHAT FOOTBALL MEANS TO FANS  PLEASE SHARE
    Hi everyone,
Blackpool fan here in peace and respect many of you will probably already have seen my video already but if you haven't I hope you do watch it.
You guys were absolutely unbelievable on Saturday and it was emotional to see you the true fans who partied and sang no matter what after all you have been through this season it was heartbreaking and uplifting in equal measure.
Even though we wanted to win to stay above Preston not one Blackpool fan would deny you the WIN. Absolutely amazing support it was a very special day
I think this is the most important video that I have ever made. Blackpool fans suffered for years at the hands of disgraceful owners and the EFL stood by and did absolutely nothing! Derby County fans came to Blackpool and stood side by side with Blackpool fans durung their prematch demonstration against the disgraced Oyston Family who were found guilty of misappropriating the clubs funds and forced to pay around £34M to minority shareholder Valeri Belokon.
Blackpool fans have never forgotten what Derby fans did and yesterday was our chance to show our support for the way Derby County fans have been treated this season. Derby came to Blackpool to party and we joined in.
This was a game that was bigger than football it was a statement to say Football without it's fans is nothing, the EFL fit and proper person test is a disgrace they approve these rogue owners and when they go rogue they punish the fans with points deductions the whole thing is wrong!
My hope is that this video gets shared to as many football fans as possible, doesn't matter which club, doesn't matter where in the world, just show it and let's make the people that run football realise that FOOTBALL WITHOUT FANS IS NOTHING
    #ONEFOOTBALLFAMILY
Please feel free to share this and help me get this message out and let people see what Derby County means to you the fans your football world has been torn apart this season and did any of you do anything wrong? No you support your club just like every other true fan and you get punished because of the EFL approving an owner that has ruined everything for you! It's WRONG!!
Who knows which set of fans will suffer next?

Any mention about 'delays' will ring alarm bells with me. Mel has to prove once and for all he really has some heart and walk away giving the stadium back to us. Squeaky bum time approaching! Please CK and MM do the right thing for all our sakes!

Rooney at the helm. Hard to believe the atmosphere around the club now compared to pre-season. We looked wrecked on a sand bar looking to be washed away with the next tide. Would we even win a game?
That Rooney managed to conjure up a competitive side, Instill that ‘fight to the end spirit’ and very nearly pull off a sporting miracle despite every setback has been nowt short of magic.
Whilst not just Derby fans but sport in general has been robbed of a fairytale due to numerous vendettas… ultimately it has not been about which league we will play in, but the sense of belonging, unity and of feeling proud to be apart of something. Rooney has been the keystone in that.
Whatever he achieves as a manager in future, we should be grateful to have had someone of his character at this precarious point of our history. Like Davy Crockett at the Alamo… with odds stacked so heavily against us he kept the team fighting as hard as he could for as long as he could… ensuring even in defeat that we will still feel inspired by this squad for years to come.
