An old film but still one of my all time favourites.
Just watched "The Tailor of Panama" AGAIN.
10/10

Just finished watching True Romance.
A bit dated but great film (written by Tarentino) with lots of big names. 8/10

Can't really think of many words other than it's absolutely gripping and superbly acted.
Up there with Scorsese's best.
Maybe I wasn't concentrating enough but, I got a bit bored with it and didn't see it through to the end.
Also watched "The shape of water" last week. A bit weird but I enjoyed it.

So it seems Publically calling someone a peado is acceptable now. Or is it only ok if you have billions to spend on top lawyers?
Crazy decision.
Mind you, not anywhere near as bad but, claiming $190m in damages was also pretty outrageous.

Watched The Mule last night, a Clint Eastwood film from 2018.
I'm struggling to explain why I feel the way I do about the film suffice to say, I won't be watching it again any time soon. Very poor 2/10

I suppose it's the classic rule in the British judicial system.
Three people involved:-
Smack on the wrist for the first.
Two smacks for the second.
The whole book thrown at the third on the premise that "There's too much of this going on!"
Regardless of the fact that number three was not charged with anything.
To quote Mr Bumble
"The law is a ass...an idiot!"
I've not read through the whole thread and so have probably missed something. What has the judicial system got to do with why the club sacked Keogh but not the others?

Very naughty of me I know, but I tend to overtake them, then shoot straight over (dare I say "swerve"!) from lane 3 to 1, no indicating nor nuffink, in the hope it's a massive hint... it rarely is though, and like you say, they just continue to tootle along in lane 2, knowing full well that they will eventually overtake that lorry... a mile ahead... in a good 5 minutes or so!
EDIT:
One thing I've noticed having done the best part of 10,000 miles on French Autoroutes now, is that the vast majority are very good at pulling back over to lane one, once the overtake is complete. They get a bad rep, but from what I have witnessed, it is much more polite and civil over there... on the motorways, at least!
The thing is though that most (in my experience) French Autoroutes only have two lanes, So, it's not quite the same as being in the middle lane of three (which also annoys me by the way in case you think I'm defending it). Also, again in my experience, French drivers aren't all as polite as you suggest. If you're overtaking and another car approaches from behind you at speed, they seem to quite often pull up quite close even though you can't get out of their way. Don't start me on the Peripherique around Paris. Not an experience I'd recommend.

Keogh is perfectly entitled to appeal within his employment rights as per any other individual so it's not down to Keogh if the matter drags on as you phrase it.
If the appeal is unsuccessful then Keogh will also be perfectly entitled to either take the club to an industrial tribunal as he has been at the company i.e. Derby for more than 2 years or even sue the club if he saw fit which will also mean that the matter drags on even further which again he is perfectly entitled to do as per any other individual.
If Morris thought that Keogh would just walk away after being dismissed then he is extremely naive so he must have known that his actions would then form a cloud over the club for a great length of time afterwards
He may be entitled but doesn't mean he'll win. Also, I suspect naivety, when it comes to employment law, isn't one of Mel's failings. I'm sure he would have taken legal advice first.

Club legend my arse.Just one of footballs many frauds.True colours come to mind.
I wouldn't describe him as a club legend but not a fraudster either. What exactly has he done? Played football and been paid loads of money for doing it. Who can blame him? That's not fraud in my book.

So got off lightly compared to keogh yet them 2 are the 2 who broke the law the most i agree with him being let go but tge other 2 should of gone as well!
Without getting into a debate about their footballing abilities, who would have suffered by sacking Lawrence and Bennett? Not them. Another club somewhere would have signed them and their footballing careers, on exorbitant salaries, would have carried on. The club probably did as much as they could in terms of punishing them.

Just the one I quoted from The Telegraph
"Derby's statement read: "Derby County Football Club has completed the disciplinary hearing regarding Richard Keogh in respect of his involvement in the events of Tuesday, September 24th.
"As a result of that process, Mr Keogh has had his contract terminated with immediate effect for gross misconduct. He has the right of appeal within 14 days.
"As we have said from the outset, the Club will not tolerate any of its players or staff behaving in a manner which puts themselves, their colleagues, and members of the general public at risk of injury or worse, or which brings the club into disrepute.
"The club will be making no further comment at this time regards this matter, until the conclusion of any potential appeal."
Still no statement on the website as far as I can see

Well obviously, because the other 2 involved can still play football and earn a living where as the other cannot. Hence why are they involved and the other isn't.
I'm not saying I agree with the stance (if indeed it's true) but surely the point isn't that the other two can still earn a living but that they can contribute as players (I know, debatable before anyone makes a comment).

I watched El Camino Friday evening.
As a big Breaking Bad fan I was really looking forward to this.
What a disappointment. Seemed very slow, not much of a story line, too many flash backs (perhaps for the benefit of those that have never seem BB) and trying to be too atmospheric.
Having said that, perhaps I'll watch it again. It might be one of those films you need to watch a couple of times to really get (as per Donny Darko in my case).

I hadn't even got to people who don't understand how to be normal on a plane. Now you have got me thinking about that as well!
I've never understood why some people rush to be at the front of the queue when they say it's time to board. Who wants to sit on a cramped plane for any longer than necessary. We tend to sit in the departure lounge and wait until the queue has nearly gone.

All the characters are pretty obnoxious but Succession isn't bad.

I thought it was excellent. Characters were brilliant even though the lead actor will always be Woody from 'made in England'. His hand tattoos from that serious are still visable.
Michelle Keegan was also easy on the eye.
I see they are filming series 2 at the moment.
Agreed although it's "This is England" not "Made in England". Every series in that franchise was excellent.

Definitely not the sort of programme I'd watch with my mum but it deals with some really deep issues. Would recommend it provided you've got a broad mind.
