True, maybe not brightest move by Lawrence. Could be that Kirchener has explained to him, it was out of his control and his money really is being investigated or something. Maybe TL doesn't believe he really was a time waster or there is another side to the story we don't know about. Or TL just isn't very bright and loves golf.

Mel Morris could have sold the club ages ago if he hadn’t have been greedy and then build up bigger debts. Trying to sell the club for maybe 3/4 years I think? It’s actually unbelievable how long this has taken.... maybe 2017 there were discussions about Morris trying to get out. 

The potential buyers are not stupid, they will know roughly what the amounts would be. Also, they will probably know what CK bid and may pitch slightly under there. There is a real deadline coming up soon with pre season and thin squad so I guess this side of conversation needs to have already happened 

What’s the point in offering something that wouldn’t be adequate to exit administration? There will have been discussions that say X is the minimum needed or something similar. A buyer will have to pay creditors an acceptable amount in order to preserve Derby playing football. 

Mel will do the right thing for him first and then club second. He put Derby in administration and has run up a huge tax bill. Until he has nothing more to do with DCFC, it's just more wishful thinking than expectation. Even the academy he has invested in is now being stripped and ruined.

I'm guessing that some of you will have seen that we have previous with Andronikou involved as an administrator with us; and fair to say that those of our support who remember him hold him in utter contempt. 
I sincerely hope you manage to rid yourself of Morris' tenure and are able to move on properly from all this without him having any control over any of the assets your club needs to move forward.
Look after yourselves - and hopefully when we meet next season things will be on a bit more of an even keel for you.
