Apparently, he's been mentioned for the Birmingham job, if Mowbray doesn't return. But, I can't see him wanting to drop down a division and Rooney couldn't get them to play a similar style to LR.

I think that we are finding out that Rooney would struggle to get a team to play tiddlywinks to any style.

Around that figure, yes. However, most of it is land, buildings, a football stadium, plant and machinery etc. Little of it is liquid assets.

He has been consistent in saying the club will be sustainable and self sufficient. That means he's not going to pump cash into the club. DCFC will spend what DCFC earns and little or no more. I find it amazing some fans seem to think otherwise.

Both the aim and the hope for 24/25 will be promotion. Reality s likely to be somewhere between P12 and P21 depending on how recruitment goes.

So we need someone with lots of liquid assets? @Eddie, your time has come!

Sure but in todays game anything less than 6ft 2 is going to be easily exposed .

I don't get this. Physical build/strength certainly are important. However, assuming it's not one of Snow White's mates in goal a few inches in height shouldn't make any difference. Standing still the keeper's hands surely reach higher than even Peter Crouch's head. Assuming the two can jump to the same height then the keeper should be able to reach higher than the striker.

    89.

    Place of birth: Grimsby

    Signed for Derby: 1978

    First club: Derby County

    Last club: Gateshead

    Position: Winger

    Full caps: 0

Fun fact: Can’t find much info about him! Was with The Rams for five years.

Paul Emson. Bloody quick, also pretty bloody rubbish. As a 15 year old I loved him, but in later years I realised that just because he was quick didn't make him a footballer.

I would never forget David Langan. Sadly I will never forget Mick Coop or Brian Attley either.

Brian Attley, although not a world beater, at least put the effort in. I actually quite liked him. Wasn't he part of the back room staff not too long ago? I seem to remember him being interviewed by Colin Gibson in the "RamsTV Meets" episodes.

    The other one.....

Ghurch Greasly is much nicer than Alicante.

Alicante has more sun, but the scenery is definitely better in Church Gresly.

    Having spent £5m...

I like the banter with @Red_Dawn, but it would be nice if he could admit that for the money they've spent they really should be doing much much better. We are rightly remembered as the worst team in Premier League history however the record books will not show relative spend of clubs and expectations of fans. I think we all knew that we would struggle. Forest fans were expecting a serious push for Europe.

Not a chant as such, but my old mate Malc had wonderful insults for referees.

My favourite was "May your sons and daughters walk sideways - like crabs"

I remember a bloke on the Popside in a break in the game shouting at Mark Wallington "Wally, you've got a head like a gooseberry!". Wally cracked up laughing and applauded the bloke.

That decision to allow us to carry on... "Carry on, he said"... whilst poor old 11 man Forest had a man down with a self-induced hurty-knee was diabolical.  Wardy should never have been allowed to take the piss like he did!

They should have had an un-challenged drop ball mid way into our half, and a straight red for Young Nigel, for egging us on, and only making things worse!

    Probably.

It's a two hour drive for me. I could take you a sturdy deck chair if you like?

How anyone ( @sage for now) can say that wasn't a penalty needs to rethink. Nailed on penalty for me. It was before the direct red for a professional foul, so the defender had to stay on. The referee warned before the free kick that he would be looking for any pushing or holding in the wall. Their player virtually body slams Davison to the floor (ok that last bit I've exaggerated a bit) and the ref immediately blows for the penalty. That's the way I saw it at the time, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.

No doubt at least one of Sunderland, Norwich, West Brom, Sheff Wed, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Sheff Utd, Bristol City, Swansea or Cardiff will sack their manager in the next 6 months and will look at Rosenior as a top option.

You forgot to mention Derby 🥷
