'Warne's love child' has scored some very important goals this season and will score more important goals if we are to achieve what we want to achieve. He's won us points, sets the tone in most games for the intensity and winning the ball up the pitch.
He isn't a 20 odd goal a season man, if he was he'd be playing at the top end of the Championship. We are in League 1. 
Such a weird place this forum, when someone questions someone who has gone unbeaten for 15 games not to mention his success at getting out this league with no budget time and time again.

They tried to play football though. I'd rate them higher than some who have simply tried to kick us off the park, then feed on scraps. Frankly, I'd rather focus on how good we were today than hunt for reasons to mark down what was a very strong outing.

Such things are easy to say and then fade into the background. 
It’s also easy to paint someone as the bad guy for having an opinion and a mind of his own and being willing to defend his opinions.
We’ll see what happens, but I doubt you’ll be back to apologise if you are wrong, will you?

I honestly don't know how you have the audacity to question this!  With all due respect you've got to admit, in quite a competitive field , that you're one of the most 'impatient' posters on here (I'm avoiding using the word 'negative'...).  I think its very fair to assume that you will be on him like flies on poop after any poor result or performance. I'm not having a go at you about it; you're entitled to your opinion just like anybody else, but the original comment certainly is not 'rubbish' is it!?

I'd still try Mendez-Laing at right back as a way of allowing us to put another forward-thinking player on the pitch. If that worked everything else would fall into place regarding team selection. 

Luckily for us he only needs to play better than Craig Forsyth, not Roberto Carlos.
