    Same here, but a lot of people on here often come out with, "we can't afford to sack him, so get behind him." I just think Clowes is trying to avoid making the same mistakes Mel made, and one of them was being very quick to sack managers.

    I think it's the Crewe fans booing Sonny because he went down easily and had a big moan at the ref in the first half. There might have been a few jeers from the Derby fans over Barks or Washington coming off, but I doubt it was many. I think commentary are just getting a bit mixed up by saying it's Derby fans booing the changes.

    In all seriousness though I don’t believe that ‘can’t afford to sack him’ tripe. Clowns is a successful business man, he wouldn’t have given a 4 year contract without a plan B.

    In fairness to him I think most clubs in our league would take every signing he’s made, it’s what you do with them that counts.
