But is there any time limit on EFL arbitration?

Need to raise this with Mr Maguire as he only wants what is best for football!

Which is exactly why we need to file a mirror claim against QPR before that ruling as insurance.

Meanwhile. Nottingham Forest have just sold Carvalho to Olympiakos.
Olympiakos is obviously the other club their chairman owns.
So essentially Carvalho could be worth £2 million. But could sign for Olympiakos for £10 million.
How this is allowed to happen is beyond me.
Not to mention the amount of random players Forest sign on the cheap that end up in Greece.
Incredible that the EFL allow this to happen.

But that sort of assumes they are creditors at all (never mind football creditors) They are making a "claim" for unproven (in fact unprovable) damages? If they are taken out of the equation I think any buyer would not want their new Club to face a realistic possibility of being in the 4th tier of the League just 12 months after they take over, which would be likely with further sanctions. So I would assume they want a route to a clean exit, only possible if the parasite claims are dismissed.

In this god awful mess, i'm going to be positive here.
If we somehow get through this and maintain a league position, the fans who may have been 'drifting' over the last few seasons will be right back on board.
I've perversely enjoyed this season (on the pitch) more than for a while and I honestly think that season ticket sales may actually go up for next season.
The way the fans, community & influential figures have rallied round is staggering

NO, NO, NO we have no debt to them, it is a speculative claim for a fictional amount of money, with no basis in law or even the EFL rules. What if their claim had been for £100m or £200m?....but they would generously accept just £30m to help us out?
Can you not see what their tactics are? Of course they will "accept" less OR "compromise" because it gives credence to an otherwise spurious claim and makes them look like they are "helping" when they have in fact just extorted money AND reduced the amount going to actual creditors.
WE CANNOT give in to this unless we sue QPR also.

I can imagine there’ll be a big surge of people who don’t want to miss out tomorrow and Sunday. I’m still debating driving down from Edinburgh for the day.

Need details on exactly what "legal decision" they are seeking.
That said, it does kind of suggest that the Boro and Wycombe claims are the central problem, despite what Gibson might say. It still seems likely to me that if those claims were withdrawn or quashed, the sale would go through fairly smoothly.

Why would it get us more EFL penalties? If the parasite claims are disbarred then a buyer is more likely to be able to settle the actual creditors in line with the EFL rules?

I'm sure you know more about this than me, but not sure how we can know from this that the PB would not pay the minimum required? How do you know that cccd is planned? Is this not just intended to get clarity on the claims?

We cannot give Boro a penny. It is obscene to think we owe them money UNLESS we sue QPR also and then where does it end. We cannot give in to what is basically blackmail.

The only issue where I would hope/expect other Clubs to be slightly supportive is over the compensation claims from the parasites as this is unprecedented and opens such an obvious chance of a chain reaction which could affect about 30 other Clubs quite easily.
I have no problems with other Clubs expecting us to "take our punishment"...which we actually have, although you wouldn't know it from the comments we get

Boro fans supporting Gibson in this are deluded and should be ashamed by the behaviour of their chairman. The issue is they believe Derby fans are blaming Gibson for Morris’ failings. Gibson has now become a problem. Morris was the issue but Gibson is not demonstrating much integrity with his fictional claims. Same for Wycombe chairman- possibly he has a case against the EFL but this still feels flimsy. Gibson is now the enemy here, don’t care about Boro either way or their fans... but I truly hope they stay in the champ and suffer with FFP if he is still the owner. Wonder how many Boro fans will be at the match v Derby. They don’t usually get big crowds.

Sounds very Familiar to us guys. Funny how the goal posts kept moving on them as well.
Seems that when the EFL get the bit between their teeth they like to carry on chewing.. I believe the difference between us and Bury is the Fan base (I sought of feel condescending saying that, but it's not meant to be entitled) we are a bigger team with a bigger Fan base who will use all channels to be heard.
I honestly think we can't stop making Noise or ruffling feathers until we are safe. I know the MP'S will get bored of us soon, but if we are irritating enough and don't go away they will have to chase the EFL. At some point the EFL will stop and go in an internal meeting "Those Derby Fans don't stop do they" and the tide will turn for us.
The March and the Game on Sunday will be the start for us Fans to be able to have our say, Max exposure and pressure needs to be applied to keep the rolling stone going no matter how heavy it gets.

Next owner should buy a second club where they don’t have ffp. We sell all our worst youngsters for 100 mill each. Then buy the league. How forest and Watford do it correct?
