A name I've not really seen banded around following his release from Cardiff is James Collins. Now his record at Cardiff isn't good, but his Luton record is brilliant, especially in lower leagues too.

Confused as to why:
1) You went to see what Mr Poppadom has to say, if I had a list of opinions I would want to read written down on a bog roll, he wouldn’t even make it on the first bog roll.
And
2) Why he’s still banging on, was pretty funny how obsessed he was at one point, then became borderline creepy, now it’s fully into the stage where he needs to have his hard drive checked.

If there is truth in those 3 joining they would be good, solid additions.

I remember when I heard we had been put into administration, I was driving back from Swansea having taken my eldest son to start University there.
Tomorrow I fetch him back after completing his first year.
Time flies ?

The one single fact for me on the whole of this sorry situation is - The EFL introduced a rule change saying that all clubs must use the straightline amortisation method after the Admin rolled over and accepted the punishment.
If the rule change happened after out alledged discressions, it was clearly open to interpretation and not against the rules at the time.
Parry came out and said it was a rule clarification, yet its was minuted in the EFL mins as a rule change. Muy understanding is our amortisation method was checked and agreed with the EFL, it only became an issue when Gibson started crying
Sorry, but the whole thing stinks, they should of closed the loop. Not bully a club into accepting a punishment in a kangaroo court....

So was our amortisation policy until a few months ago.

Small bit in the Mail:
Hoping he's left us a solid base with someone ready to step in - but props to him for all the hard work he's put in in making a jewel in the crown at Derby.

EFLs misgivings.
1. Capitulated when Anderson wanted his money or Bolton would be no more
2. Let Macclesfield's owner kill off the club
3. Didn't investigate when Bury were sold for £1 then threw them out of the league
4. Bring in a disqualified person into the EFL when he diverted £350k into his own bank account
5. Accepted DCFCs accounts, Then had a change of heart.
6. Wouldn't let DCFC take out a Covid 19 loan
7. Sided 100% with Gibson
8. Changed the Profitability and Sustainability Rules once we'd been ducked over
9. Refused to let us extend Jagielka's contract
10. The head of the EFL must have a shyte perm for a hair do
As Jimmy Cricket would say...."come here there's more"

Also in the Athletic article, it states Mel will use the funds from the sale to pay off the MSD loan against the club and himself plus Kirchner has agreed a tight business plan with the Evil EFL.
I may have added one word.

Bit of useless info. Clowes is an active director of over 40 registered companies and it looks like he has a pilot's license.

An owner of a renowned local business who knows Clowes told me he believed it was done bar the shouting. Just the usual time frames to wait for.??

Without wanting to be involved in any of your disagreements with other posters, one point I'd make is that DCFC would have a great case against the EFL if only for the unbelievably unprofessional tone they used.
When they said in an official statement they were "disappointed" a ruling on one aspect went in our favour, then they showed a bias against us. A professional body should not, publicly at least, be "disappointed" that a member of that professional body had been found not to have broken a rule.
Parry was scared of Gibson's threat to sue and caused DCFC to suffer more than was required by the EFL rules because of his cowardice.
No matter what happens going forward, Rick Parry will always be guilty of pushing us to the brink of extinction by his inability to deal with Steve Gibson.
Absolute w****** the pair of them.
