I was just going to review this - same here. Not watched it for ten years or so.
Gripping at times, pretty silly at other times.
6.5 for me.
I think the alternate ending would have actually made the film better and more complete (unexpected).

I am Legend on netflix. I'd not seen this for a while and it's new to flix so decided to rewatch. Great stuff. 8.5/10. The alternate ending is better than the original though.

Venom good addition to the Marvel film series with dark undertones. 8.5/10.
Venom 2 Let there be Carnage - A big let down compared to the first. 'Humour' at times from the Venom character at times which did not really work. 5/10.

Genuinely have no concerns about our ability to win this match and win it fairly easily.
In these 5 league games they've lost on the bounce they've scored 1 and conceded 12
1-0 to Exeter then.

What happened to the lad who had youtube channel for Derby? Went to home and away games and was quite the character. Khali think his name was. Featured in a Derby County advert on their main site for merchandise.

Sorry to read this. I remember him pretty well on the pitch, because occasionally he did some magic things. I remember him better as a Landlord of one of my locals, when I used to live in Haywards Heath. Great character, and kept a good beer. RIP Gerry 🐑
Yes went to that pub not knowing he ran it. Did a double take. Nice bloke.

Welcome to the Jungle (not to be confused with the Jumanii reboot) and Journey 2 : Mysterious Island. Both star Dwayne Johnson and both good fun. Michael Caine is in Journey 2. 7/10. Netflix

Now I am retired I keep having nightmares about having to attend work.
Even working at home on a laptop sends shivers down my spine.I also keep having nightmares about young people being brainwashed at university they will never retire until they are in their eighties.
I work from home as freelance and still have dreams about my old office jobs. In one office dream, two co workers asked me for something and I started to feel stressed. I said "Hang on, this is a dream isn't it?" They laughed and said Yes. Dreams are weird!

Some dreams are prophetic, you may not believe that, but in my locale it is a fact, we call those bare dreams.
Around thirty years ago I had a dream, a very precise clear dream, one of those more real than real dreams, if you catch my meaning. I won't recount it here, but I dreamed of my wife and of my son many years before they became a reality for me.
Don't discount the super realistic dream, there is more to this reality and your destiny than your senses can acquire in the waking state.
I had a dream myself and some other rock fans were having a 'group hug' and cheering with the AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young. The next day, mate call me to say Mal had passed away. Just an example.

Riddick on netflix. Not a bad scifi with lots of aliens! 7.5/10

Nobody on netflix. Death Wish/Taken/Extraction genre. Christopher Lloyd in a minor supporting role I kid you not! 8/10.

Seems to me those at the top were probably persuaded to sign it off by animations similar to the one they show of hs2 every now and again...the one with the high speed train and then lines quickly moving north linking the cities. "Wow it looks amazing and seems so easy to do".
-
-
Who would use hs2? A few business blokes who can afford the ticket price to get somewhere 1/2 hour quicker? Freight's been mentioned but seems a bit of a bottleneck for that (one or two rail north, one or two south) unless I am missing something?
Of all the information out there, I cannot find anything that shows the expected passenger count. 1000 a week? A million? 10?

The best dreams are lucid ones (you realise it's a dream and not reality). I usually tell people in it they are in my dream!
