Great result and vital 3 points given results elsewhere and our injury problems.

Nelson, Cash, Smith, Adams NML and CBT were the standout players.

Not going to go into the performance too much as it’s solely about those 3 points. Needless to say we played ok, but can play better.

    Happy days!

unfortunately iv never completed anything. my dad has recently got back into painting airfix planes and tanks from ww1 and ww2. Very interesting stuff especially when he gets talking about ww2 stuff

I recently built one for the 'man cave'. No room for any more though!

  3. I no longer collect things but still have items from my youth. I used to collect stamps as a lad and still have the album. Some I did not even use a 'hinge' and put them inside a mini plastic 'wallet' before mounting in the album keeping them mint. Weetabix did a series of Dr Who characters. Some of the larger packets contained backgrounds of which you could setup your own adventures.  I still have my airfix collection of various models in a box. Most broken but happy memories so won't get rid. Also the usual football stickers. One from my youth was missing 5 stickers....completed thanks to ebay after over 40 years!

  4. For Facts Sake by Bob Daisley. He was the bass player and later lyric/music arranger with various bands including Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Gary Moore and many others. He kept a diary of events so his recollections are accurate and shed a lot of insight into the music business in general. I read this on first release but decided to go through it again. The Ozzy part is specially interesting.

I can appreciate any kind of art where some proper technical ability and skill is used.
Last time I went to the Tate modern I was disappointed that there was so many examples of stuff my then 7 year old could have done - splashing paint around and random placing of bricks etc.

I enjoyed going to the previous sculpture exhibitions in Chatsworth Park. Some proper skill & inspiration there, with materials used and messaging.

I thought this the first time...years later went again and myself and others would make up a 'backstory' about the image in front of us. We were quite serious and it became enjoyable. Puts a different perspective on that, for example, blue stripe down the centre of a pure white background. My take on this was "After years of Earth being in an ice age, the first flowing river was spotted. One by one people came out of the shelters and could begin again".

To answer op question. His artwork is different and usually has a message behind it.
