I'm as much of a Warne skeptic as anyone, but have a day off my friend!

There has to come a point where we fluke so many wins, that it can no longer be called a fluke.
Perhaps we're just an efficient, effective, but not particularly eye-catching side? 🤷♂️

Getting it wrong for 70 minutes but recognising that and changing it deserves some credit, but not getting it wrong in the first place would deserve far more. Warne learns but he learns slowly.
They key difference was having an actual RWB at RWB, before we changed there wasn't anyone aside from the 3CBs who looked comfortable in their role.
Bradley was excellent today against a team who never ran at him, and with a proper midfield infront of him.
That said I'd have been happy with a point today given the circumstances so I'm delighted we won

Matt Le Tissier also said the war in Ukraine was being staged by actors, and he sounded as ridiculous then as you do now.

Still don't get one thing... we have strikers in the youth teams (Tony Weston, Lennon Wheeldon) that aren't playing today and aren't out on loan. Why not name one of those on the bench to give us something different to bring on?! We have no recognised striker in the matchday squad!

Because Warne seems to think the deep end is too risky for our youngsters.
It's probably the thing I least like about him. If you never test them you never know. Cashin got thrown in at the deep end and look at him now, you can't protect them forever.

I'm still waiting for us to show exactly why we're by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

I also don't understand why away fans are still walking down Shaftesbury Street and getting their heads kicked in? The Baseball Ground hasn't been there since 2003 and we stopped playing there in 1997. What exactly are they doing?

Chris Martin was never going to go anywhere other than Bristol City or another team in that area.

Fair play, I do like folk who have the courage of their convictions 👍
Assume this wager would be dependant on Warne staying the full season in the Championship if we went up (given that's the constant discussion point on here)? If so, I'm happy to have a friendly wager with you if it extends beyond Bris 🤝
p.s. I sincerely hope I lose. I don't like sacking managers & I never want Derby to play in the 3rd tier ever again. If Warne secures us as a midtable finisher in the division above, that would qualify as mission accomplished with regard to his tenure IMO

This sort of makes it sound like Warne is having little impact on the team.
I personally think it's unfair to blame him for a loss, and not credit him for a win. So for me, he's really turned it around results wise, and he's doing alright. The better games are now outnumbering the bad. So that's a credit to him and all the coaching staff.
I disagree with people posting earlier saying that the Warne-outers refuse to change their stance on things. I was as Warne-out as anyone, but I'm currently happy with things how they are.
It's the division above that's the big test. I don't care how we get out of this league, so long as we do. And we look well set to do that.

Yawn. More divisive b******* that completely (intentionally) misrepresents people's arguments.

May Contain Nuts reacted to Duracell in xG - hype or valuable stat?
xG needs a rebrand. It doesn't mean "how many you should have scored" - it's a metric of how many shots were close to goal.
If you see a team with loads of shots and low xG, you can tell that it was a side struggling to break into the final third and taking fanciful shots at goal.
If you see a high xG and no goals scored, you know a team's been wasteful.
I don't see what's hipster or controversial about that.

You do realise the 'anti Warne' as you call them would describe the 'pro Warne' in the same way.
There are probably a couple of extreme posters on both sides. One thing I would say as a 'Warne sceptic' is there are many who just want to close down any debate, which makes 'anti Warne' posters more extreme and actually prolongs negative themes.

As has already been said - EVERYTHING on here is opinion. Some opinions are stronger than others. Everybody (well... mostly everyone) expresses their opinion differently.
My opinions are based on things I've observed when watching Derby play, arguments and analysis I've either done myself or seen other reputable posters put forward in a clear and concise manner. When I'm writing a post I try to put things in an order I can understand, a logical and analytical path I can follow. It's a process to help me keep things clear in my head.
Sometimes I write and re-write things so often, trying to cover as many bases as possible while keeping things 'straight', that it actually ends up making my posts into a bit of a jumble.
...and sometimes I just think f*** it, I can't be arsed to spend 15 minutes turning it over and just post on the fly.
I'm sorry if it doesn't meet your pre-approved idea of how someone should type out their opinion on a football forum.
