So the appalling clown Murray and his Quest clodhoppers were out of order last night to simply push out their declarations about a 12-point penalty (reduced to 9), and even displaying a revised Championship table with The Rams on -2 points.
Premature, unconfirmed and possibly false information given; we should expect an apology (but won't get one, as the channel is just another passenger on the media circus surrounding the whole demeaning saga).

BBC football pages today (in a feature on Rooney's pressures) declares that the EFL wish to impose a 12-point deduction, with DCFC saying it is too harsh.
We might lose but I want Mel to take Parry down with him. Atrocious League leadership pitting clubs against each other and drawing out the punishment for maximum damage to the club, even if penalties may be merited.

Some may have heard this recent BBC Sounds chat between Rooney and his long-time (Everton) pal and boxer, Tony Bellew.
It does put Rooney's outlook into context, regarding playing, managing, family, media attention....and he talks about his approach to his DCFC role and man-management.

He isn't the waster or dunce that (other fans and media) people like to caricature him as being.
Of course his managerial record is poor, no denying, but this (hour-long) feature does infuse you with more respect for his achievements, abilities, aspirations, and his methods as DCFC manager.
If only the club could make progress and back him to develop himself and the squad as wished.

He's a generous bloke, £1.2m for a robotic surgeon to Derby Hospital that helps the city, saved lives and pumped millions into the football club.
People can dissect his running of the club and they will, but honestly having talked to him on many occasions, he's a decent guy that does care.
I would receive calls just to check up how I was doing during my bad days with anxiety. Was hard to read that he was going through his own health issues.
I'll get hammered for this post but I'm gutted for the guy with how this is ending. Always will.
Won't ever feel comfortable reading people laying into him as a man, but accept that others haven't been as lucky I have to have been able to see that side of him.
