Maybe it’s my age butI have tears in my eyes having just caught the news about Franny.
He was one of the game’s great characters and gave his all for the Rams.
I was at the match when he gestured to the Man City fans who had been chanting “City Reject!” at one of their greatest servants after scoring the winning goal for the Rams!
He also did his trademark crawl into the penalty area and was the picture of injured innocence when the ref didn’t award a penno!

Couldn't agree with you more.......these polls are really boring

He might not be good for Derby, he might not play the football we all crave, he may not lead us to promotion but to describe him as “a disgrace to this football club” is frankly, a disgraceful thing to say IMO.

Isn’t it great , we are a proper football club again with fans arguing the toss over managers , players , style , performances and everything football again , couple of hours and I will be in the car heading to derby and we are going to batter Cambridge today , I can feel it in my water , today is the day our home form gets back on track

Had things not been resolved we could have been reading something like:-

Reminds me of Sir  Laurence Olivier who did a perfect portrayal of Hamlet.

I got my electric bike over a decade ago and it has been a Godsend!
When my wife was in hospital for ten weeks I used it to visit every day rather than pay through the nose to park.
When Sir Clive invented the C5 I thought the concept was brilliant but that it would be suicide on public roads!
I said at the time that if he converted it to a bicycle or similar I’d be interested.
Sir Clive was treated like IKB (Brunel) who was also a genius but lacked the common sense to realise that:-
An atmospheric railway would be scuppered by rats!
You don’t build the world’s largest iron ship without first making sure you can get it in the Bristol Channel!
Both we’re ideas men who lacked business acumen leaving others to rake in the financial benefits.
And both were uniquely brilliant men!

I did wonder if I should specify promotion but it would be a bit odd if any club had an expectation of being relegated.
