SSD got a reaction from jono in Work & Home Life
Had a run of deaths and issues to deal with in the family, the latest was our family pet who died in an accident and I think that's just tipped me over the edge. Lacking the energy to go to work, thankfully I can do what I need at home. Can't face holding conversations with people at the moment, my family are more important. We've had a run of bad luck and it's just keeps hitting us like a freight train.
Never had to deal with close grief before and now all of sudden it feels like your little world just crumbles. Work does have its uses, I've tried to switch off and cracked on with the day to day work routine as best as I can.
This morning I woke up, hid the alcohol away because that's just asking for more trouble. Don't remember ever feeling as numb.

Katie Price. Exploited her disabled son for a TV show when she was running out of ideas to generate money.
Somehow hasn't been sent to prison for countless driving offences. Thankfully nobody has been killed by her actions.
Not for me.

SSD got a reaction from Ewe Ram in Rooney leaves
I think because he was heavily invested in Kirchner taking over the club, with his old agent being involved during negotiations, he felt his position as manager was untenable. Possibly wasn't going to have as much influence at the club as he wanted, with the new ownership not far away from completing a takeover. Good decision from all parties I think. Rooney goes with my best wishes. He'll no doubt have another Championship job in the future.
I don't agree with Eric Steele's comments stating it's a disaster though. If you have a manager who doesn't have the heart for the job anymore then we need to start fresh. Rosenior, if he takes the job which I think he will, has a good clean slate to mould a new team and bring his ideas to the table. No big egos to contend with either. Perfect opportunity for a young manager.
Worked out for Eddie Howe didn't it when Bournemouth was in a total mess at the bottom of the football league. He's done well for himself.

Seen a few people stating why didn't Clowes step in earlier. Maybe as a business and personally they weren't confident enough to commit to such a heavy investment which more than likely they'll never see a return on. They may have secured more business on new developments, helping fund the potential takeover.
To echo David, I'm just delighted someone is willing to spend millions of pounds into the club that is a complete money pit and financially is in such a poor state of affairs.
