SSD got a reaction from dcfcfan1 in Depression, anxiety, stress and other related issues
Thank you Needlesh, and I'm sorry for your loss.
I had a breakdown yesterday, which I've not done in a while, because I feel I trust people who don't give anything back. Maybe that's me being a honest person. You're right, people and employers are shitbags. They never give me anything in return, yet I don't understand why I feel so hurt by it. Is it caring for the job too much?

People who let a load of smelly looking hippies and z-list "celebs" to bring the capital city of England to a standstill with a pointless protest.

I reckon Pes 20 will be far better than Fifa 17 and will be well worth getting
Like Srg said, The Last of Us is a freebie. Still the best game I've ever played.
Some games have come out since and done things better but considering it's a PS3 game it's still one of the best titles on the PS4.
And it has the best story and characters of any game imo.

Loved how in Catalonia bottles of Estrella and San Miguel cost 2 euros, meanwhile Carlsberg and Coors Light cost 4 euros.
Justice for decent lager :)

SSD got a reaction from Andicis in Gaming
Played the PES 2020 demo last night. Seriously impressed with the gameplay. It feels much slower and realistic than FIFA ever has. For example, ground passing isn't all flat to the turf, if you hold the button for long enough, the ball goes airborne and is aimed at thigh height (like it would be in a real game if you smashed it hard to a teammate). Finishing feels tougher as well and the goalkeepers don't magically forget their positioning unlike FIA.
Think PES has found the niche in the market, a good single player career mode. It'll be a brilliant alternative for gamers. Go for FIFA if you want to play more online i.e. Ultimate Team and for playing with mates. For hermits like me who don't have many gamer friends, PES looks to be my choice this year.

Haven't played a football game since Fifa 17. Used to buy one every year but I'd say ever since they bought in UT, it's very stale. At least FIFA 20 they've had a look Volta (Fifa Street Mode) which does look fun and something a little different. But all gaming now is online based and that's why I don't play games as much now.
Many developers don't care about single player campaigns anymore, when was the last time Fifa had a decent career mode? It's been broken for a long time, because they've focused on Ultimate Team, requiring gamers to spend even more money to buy good players. I hate that in gaming culture. I want to buy a great game, then have the choice of buying additional content, not buy a half arsed game (Star Wars Battlefront) and find out you need to spend another £20-30 to have full game access.

Looking forward to PES 20.
There was a brief period where Fifa was the better game but back to Pes now.
I just download the option file for pes and it's all kitted up properly anyway. I think Fifa looks great right up until kick off. It sounds great too but pes is just a better game. When you've made it look licensed and official then you don't really miss the presentation of Fifa.
Fifa scripting seems worse too. You can always tell when the AI will score.

SSD reacted to Srg in RamsTV Feedback
Need more lighthearted stuff including the players, that's how we get to know them more, rather than Colin's interviews where he doesn't actually pose a question. The videos last year (not done by RamsTV) with Waghorn, Nugent etc were brilliant and far more insightful into the personality of our squad than most other things we get to see.

I also own a VW up. Brilliant for city driving, can park it in any space. Get it onto the dual carriageway and it's rather steady. Mine doesn't like it when it goes past 40, when you eventually get up to speed it's fine. I live in an area of the city where the streets are really tight, yet people think it's a great idea to have a people carrier or a large SUV. The cars had a couple of injuries no thanks to my neighbours who like to knock my mirrors off because their car is far too big. Cheap to run, insurance is peanuts, happy days :)

Did @Carl Sagan ever get his Tesla?

SSD reacted to Inverurie Ram in Frank Lampard
I watched the game in Commercial Inn, Inverurie and I bought myself a pint of perroni, sat down next to a bloke with a real parrot on his shoulder!.....I had a look at my pint and it was definitely my first pint of the day......and nobody batted an eyelid to this parrot, big red and green one, looked like he was Man Utd, no blue on him, I think blue is more budgeeregar, anyway there's no joke, no gag coming, this was for real, so I looked up at the big screen and enjoyed the first half, Man Utd leading 1-0.
The bloke and parrot left the pub at half time and the parrot said goodbye on the way out, and the half dozen or so folk sat on the bar stools around the bar turned around on a Sunday afternoon and wished them both a goodbye. I looked at my pint again, did a head shake and carried on as per normal and enjoyed the second half.
Sometimes I wonder why I live in Scotland, I think it's for the entertainment, anyway you couldn't make it up, as for the football, I don't like the Manx, don't like the Spivs, but I'm looking forward to seeing that parrot again!
And if I had one of them modern phones with a camera, I'd have taken a picture, one day I might catch up with the modern world!
Up The Rams.

Adverts made in a foreign language and then badly dubbed English voice-over added.
Lazy at best and IMO insulting. If a company can't be arsed to make an english advert, for a market as big as ours is, then they don't deserve my cash.

I had some idiot scream at me the other day for pulling out on him at a junction. BMW driver was far down the road, I had plenty of time to pull out safely and get up to speed. He decides to then overtake me and pointed to his dashcam. He was hammering the car down the road, you're speeding you a-hole. You know there's plenty of junction on the road, slow down.

I’m finding people with dashcams to be the worst offenders on the road. Followed someone this morning down the A38, dashcam front and rear while they’re holding their phone to the ear.
Forever wishing I was an undercover traffic cop.
