    We were in embargo during the following periods due to being suspected of failing P&S:
    04/05/18-03/07/18, 06/03/19-11/07/19, early (March?) 2020-22/09/2021
    24 months of embargoes simply because no one could agree to whether we were using an acceptable policy or not. Not only that, but the EFL's CFO was happy with the accounts, then later, following a verbal discussion to go over the policy, stated he was content with it and pointed out it was the club's risk with loading values towards the end of contracts. The knock on effect of that was making it harder for MM to sell the club to someone else.
    Our HMRC bill was built up over a maximum of 2 years. It was allowed to go on for so long due to Covid laws which prevented HMRC chasing it.
    On debt in general, there are at least 6 Championship clubs who over over £100m to various parties.
    Wigan were in administration and suffered relegation due to the points deduction. The transfer window after exiting administration, they spent £700k on one player. Roughly equivalent to 10% of their L1 revenue. Did anyone get enraged about that?

    There's their actual record for us coming off the bench in league games.
    Osula
    Sub apps = 13
    Sub mins = 199
    Goals = 0
    Assists = 0
    Yellow cards = 0
    Red cards = 1
    Stretton
    Sub apps = 8
    Sub mins = 225
    Goals = 1
    Assists = 0
    Yellow cards = 1
    Red cards = 0
    Also note, Stretton's appearances were all in the Championship in a struggling side, whereas Osula was in a L1 side pushing for promotion.
    There's also Stretton's end product at every level:
    U18s = 27 goal contributions in 39 games (1 per 104 mins)
    U19s = 5 goal contributions in 6 games (1 per 92 mins)
    U21/23s = 16 goal contributions in 25 games (1 per 110 mins)
    Stockport = 3 goal contributions in 5 games (1 per 82 mins)
    Carlisle= 5 goal contributions in 23 games (1 per 210 mins)
    Derby = 2 goal contributions in 16 games (1 per 240 mins)

    Does it? Name another club who has been punished as much as us?
    Other clubs have had points deductions in two consecutive seasons, but didn't have anywhere near the restrictions on signing players as we have.
    QPR were fined £42m, but part of that included wiping out owner debt, and still gave them a season in the PL and the money that comes with it.

    Ghost of Clough got a reaction from SKRam in Jason Knight, option to extend his contract
    Plymouth may have signed 3 players, but they also lost a player who has 16 goal contributions in their 25 games.
    They've signed:
    1) A CM who has hardly played this season, with 0 goal contributions
    2) A LB who will come in as competition for their current first choice
    3.)A  21 year old forward who has only ever played for Wellington Phoenix. He wasn't even their top scorer this season. Forest flop Jason Cummings has had a much better goal contribution. Jamie Maclaren, who scored 1 goal for Hibs in his final season in Scotland already has 4 times as many goals.
    They've added depth, but not quality.
    You state "I'm being realistic and looking at ten seasons of statistics". However, the highest a 3rd place side has finished on is 90 (11/12).This was actually the highest ever since 3 points for a win was introduced. Being realistic, 91 points is the total required for automatics (50 points in 22 games) and that's perfectly achievable. Three teams did it in the first half of the season, so there's no reason why we can't in the 2nd half.

    We're actually at 5 years of embargoes. The 6th consecutive season we've been under one. Admittedly, under varying degrees of restrictions.
    Embargoes: 04/05/18-03/07/18, 06/03/19-11/07/19, early 2020-present
    That's roughly 40 out of the last 56 months. It will finish at 7 consecutive seasons and 57 out of 73 months.

    Not hugely surprised. He had his moments, but lacked craft and quality to really step up for us and earn a place in the team. I could see him being a decent option for a team further down the league and play more regularly.
    We will definitely need to bring someone in to replace him.
