I'll put it this way, no one sane wanted to buy us before administration.
After administration, what you're buying isn't better, but possibly cheaper.
cK, Ashley, Appleby, Binnies all were intersted as a low ball bargain club, which has been difficult as the debts are so high.
I think cK actually wants to buy us. Appleby and the binnies had clearly fixed ideas about what we were worth buying at, and it's that or not.
Ashley, disaster capitalist that he is, i don't think really wants to buy us, i think he just got a tingling for screwing over creditors which is really what gets him off. Ashley undoubtedly has the money to make a success of DCFC but he'd only put his money up after everything has fallen apart and it's basically whater he offers or immediate liquidation, which may well be less the cK is offering, even if Ashley is putting about that he'd give more than cK at the moment, because at the moment, Ashley isn't putting his offer down. Mike Ashley is skilled and ruthless in dealing with aquiring insolvent business - it'd be painfull in the extream before anything got better for us as fans, and i'd dread to think if I were an employee as MA took over.
So I'm guardedly hopefull about cK, resigned to starting on -15 next season and relegation this season. But we will go on. There's going to be some hard grind ahead, but we'll get through it.

Tyler, you have been asking for weeks now why anyone would buy Derby, it's a question that makes little sense given the state of football in general.
It's madness, it is and there is no rational explanation why anyone would currently want to own a football club outside of the Premier League.
However, I'm just happy to have someone that's willing to sign up to losing money by the millions each year to satisfy my entertainment.
I have no doubts, we will drain his wallet and move on to the next rich person after a few years as the cycle continues until the government get a grip of the game.
I suspect, location, fanbase, history (no disrespect to Preston) and most importantly opportunity to create more revenue streams at a larger club would have seen him change his mind.
Rooney is a big name over in the states, a sponsorship lure by himself. That does create a somewhat untouchable manager that is always the danger, but so far it's not something we have to worry about.

Think the administrators have rushed this announcement. They need to take a breather & have a long think about it.  It’s all going surprisingly too quick.

I think our quest for a moral and ethical pioneer of impeccable ethics, business sense, wealth and long term vision has to be tempered by the fact that as a business with debts higher than value and liquidation a very real possibility, we might have to settle for whoever stumps up the money.
I don't expect rich people to necessarily be nice people. Even if they've a polished and nice exterior.
If cK saves the club, that's great. I don't have to like him on a personal level or agree with his twitter pooposting to still be happy for DCFC.
The concerns I have are the same I had before, he's young, not exactly sure how he made his wealth or how wealthy he really is,what are his intentions. These are more just unknowns than evidence he'd be bad.

Get your torches and pitchforks here. Let's hound Kirchner out and go into liquidation, because, and you better believe this. no ducker else is going to come charging in at the last moment.and save DCFC. Still all the holier than thou brigade will be happy then. I will not be answering any comments on this as I don't give a flying duck.

He made a bid which gave him exclusivity, when he looked more deeply into the club he lowered his bid, what does that tell you?
Its OK saying he’s getting the stadium, but how much does that need spending on it to get it to the same state as PPS?
How much would their training ground need spending on it to get it up to Cat 1
What’s the difference in potential fan bases when they’ve got the two Manchester and Liverpool clubs just down the road?

Despite this seasons heroics so far, I’d still take instant relegation if it means having a club, a faint hope of having bezzie mate Rooney stay on and actually retain some of the players and kids, aaand have a fair crack at league one. No pb before end of the season and the foundation of the club cracks; academy falls apart and we’re at least 2 years down there if we’re lucky.

Although the cost of running a club to satisfy that fan base is greater than the income the fan base generates.

I wonder what the deadline is?
Is it the last match of the season, when the income stops for a few months?
Is it June 1 when the out of contract players can sign for other clubs?
Is there a date by which we have to sign up for inclusion in the league?
All of those are a few weeks away, but how long will a buyout takes once we actually have a buyer?
So is there a point where Quantuma switch from looking for a buyer to preparing for liquidation?
My instincts are telling me that everything will be OK. The problem is that my logical brain is telling me that we only have a few days left to find an actual buyer.
