I've had a 5g phone for ages. I too was told the day I got it, that I may as well turn the 5g off. The guy said it would waste battery looking for 5g signals.
It's looking for the chip in your blood

I gave up when Henderson came on. It’s analogous to sending Chris Tavare in to bat with 40 required off the last 4 overs.
I thought it got better when Henderson came on. He called for the ball, dropped to get it and demanded more movement.

Mount has been dire but still on the pitch

I may have to change channels and watch the awful Death In Paradise. It's got that bad.

If this was Football manager, I'd take Rice, Mount, Saka and Stirling off
-
Rice is not doing his job either

I’d take Sterling, Mount and Shaka off the next time the ball goes out.
Replace em with Grealish, Foden and Wilson
But he must have told them not to take players on, look for space etc

I Particularly like the “rentacrowd” they keep showing on the TV coverage.
This should a low point for FIFA. No football legacy from this either, most stadia are to be downsized some to be torn down (and the materials re-used -yeah right!)
Willing Ecuador to completely batter them.
Presumably, reused in a way that will get more workers killed.

Personally, I thought the 3rd, sorry 2nd goal was more offside

Perhaps it's not just the fans they are paying.
Anyone seen a replay?

I was wondering about the ticket sales. If you've got say 4,000 England fans, and say the same from Wales. So that's 8,000 in a 40,000 (?) Stadium? Maybe some fans of other teams on a day off, if they've got spare cash? So when they play each other, where are the extra 30,000 coming from?
Oh well, guess we'll soon find out.
My only direct experience was Ecuador v Costa Rica in Hamburg 2006. Full stadium, with mostly neutrals - the locals and people like my friends and I, who just wanted to experience a bit of a world cup. I assume this is kind of typical at world cups.
I'm interested to see if that mixture of local interest and general curiosity is present in this world cup.

I think Argentina just about shaded the singing.
But they really shouldn't put microphones so close to players during national anthems.
