What happens when two Italian teams play each other?
Is it always 0-0?
Does someone eventually score by accident?

Rodri seems to be being interviewed by Slobodan Miosovic

I’d rather the English side win, I’m old enough to associate Italian clubs cheating us in the European cup
Not to mention the performance of Italian teams in the other 2 European finals this season.

Australia look pretty good, don't they?

I would have thought that would be a civil matter. Once one party has reneged on the contract by failing to make payment, I would have thought all bets would be off.
It would be an ecumenical matter

That really does not not make any sense if true. Why would he go there?
He's from near there

I personally think Moeen Ali is better than Leach and I don’t see a problem.
He hasn't done an awful lot of bowling or batting in recent weeks.
All 20 and quite a lot of bench warming too. Speaking as a Warwickshire man, I'm quite happy to see him go. Since he arrived from the IPL, we've lost all 3 games he's captained in.

Mattie Mckiernan has clean bowled Moeen Ali, Alex Davies, and Glenn Maxwell...an incredible spell of bowling 😀
I think I could get Maxwell out at the moment.

The elephant in the room here is Stokes' lack of bowling. The only reason to have Leach (or any spinner) in the team is to allow rotation of the other 3 bowlers. That's why Leach was bowling on the first morning of the recent test against Ireland.
England don't need/have/want an attacking spinner. They just need someone to occupy one end because they are not going into tests with a five man attack.
Leach is tidy. Do we have another tidy spinner?

Nice distraction from proper news.
Meanwhile our government uses the courts to stop its own inquiry from looking at evidence.

You're obviously not a player at the end of his career being offered the chance of international football. Their next 4 games are against Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba and Canada. The 5th will be against the winner of a qualifying match... Who'd turn down Mexico as your debut international game at the end of a career (except for your good self...)?
You're right, I definitely would turn it down. But then I have no connection with Guatemala. Which is only slightly less connection than Mendez-Laing.😀

He's not going to get picked for England. If Guatemala ask the question, I'm positive he'll play for them. A player isn't going to turn down his last chance of becoming an international footballer.
Buena suerte NML
Alternatively, 16 hours travel time one way (having travelled to Heathrow for the pleasure), probably not direct, to play a qualifier against Belize or some such. Sod that.

This is terrible. And stems from Jose Mourinho urging his players to crowd the referee and try to bully him.
So glad they lost now.
You could also see him gesturing to his staff to get up and go to the touchline as he had a break from it.
Anders Frisk retired from refereeing after death threats from Chelsea fans inspired byMourinho.

Tests are usually 5 days? 4 days might help this one along a bit.
Yeah, I was quite surprised. Don't think this one will even need a 4th day.

Fine as a limited overs game, test cricket only works when the teams are pretty evenly matched. Underdog team pulling out a heroic session or probably ends up not mattering over a 5 day test.
it's 4 days

Now we know who is to blame. And Terry thinks it's genius.
It's not surprising that someone like John Terry looks up to Mourinho.

Unfortunately there are millions of fans that wear suits or the corporate equivalent at work all week, and either watch games from their sofas and or turn up for live games that don’t understand the emotion of the game either and became attracted to football when it sold it’s soul from a working class game to the dirty corrupt money grabbing greedy unrecognisable game it is now whilst they continue to spout all their clueless drivel in the work place, in the trendy bars, on social media and at grass roots football where their own kids fall about like feathers and all the rest.
Yeah. Anyone who wears a suit is an emotionally stunted automaton

Currently watching FUBAR on Netflix, which was released yesterday - basically, Arnie being Arnie. That tells you everything you need to know.
Watched a couple of these and quite enjoyed it.
The only thing that detracts is that he is such a terrible actor. He needed to have fewer lines of dialogue.

3 European finals with 3 (losing) Italian teams doing everything to ruin them with anti-entertainment doesn't really draw me to Italian football
