Beckham had unveiled his Mohican haircut before the game - there was a lad in the East stand concourse who wanted to look like him so has sellotaped a black woolly sock to his head - great memories....
David Lacey in the Guardian wrote that the Mexico team at Pride Park would struggle to give Derby County a game.

personally i would like to see Fik and Ben White given chances. but we all know that Southgates innate conservatism means he simply does not give first chances in qualifiers. even if its against the Kosovo Paper Boys Second XI......🤣
Ben White's continued absence might be linked to his leaving the world cup squad.

Leeds and Leicester it is then.
To be honest, I’d have rather it been Everton and Forest.
But oh well.
Still, mustn't grumble, eh?

Or a typo (and given the tone of your reply, snotty is quite ironic!).
You didn't appear to understand how it works. Just trying to help.

If I were a Peterborough fan I think I’d be ever so slightly upset that they scored in the 99th minute when there were only 6 mins of injury time - but maybe this will teach teams not to mess around and give the ref the opportunity to keep adding time on.
It's a 'minimum' of 6 and in those 6 a Sheff Weds player was down for a while and Peterbrough wasted a bunch of time. The goal went in in the 98th minute.

This is the problem fot Toney now. And probably forever. People will make jokes about him and his addiction. They will chant about him and distrust every miss.
He's going to have to be a super-strong human being to come back anywhere near the player he has been.

Surely the way out of this is to get a court judgement on whether he was a Cardiff player?
If he was, the insurers will have to pay out and then they can pay Nantes.
I thought the insurance was invalid because the flight was illegal

Nice to see the pigs lining up to stop the Coventry players celebrating with the fans

How many young lads have we had that showed great promise and not quite live up to hype.
Callum Ball, Adam Murray, Gary Twigg, Paris Simmons just 4 that spring to mind.
