  1. I was never too bothered, but got one (Doorbell/Cam) as a present. I rarely use the contact/intercom thing to be fair, but it's sometimes handy to see who's there (*When we're out). I've since added a camera (only) to the rear garden, which covers 90% of the garden, plus the all important access to the shed.** I've turned off the phone notifications for the latter, as it goes off when sheets/towels/large pants are a-blowing in the breeze! *I have never used the mobile app thingy to check and/or answer, when we're in. I just walk through "The Great Hall to the door, and open it... a bit like a human being!... Unlike a friend who will literally sit on his sofa and talk to the caller via the doorcam! Idle Bugger! **There is absolutely no need to keep a permanent eye on my shed, of course, as there is absolutely nothing of value in there. But it's such a lovely looking shed. Etc...
  2. Thanks mate. ๐Ÿ‘ All was going so well, until I noticed the angle of those lines. Why on earth didn't they just draw them vertically/perpendicular to the bloody side lines! ๐Ÿคฃ
  3. Godammit! Oh, what might have been, eh! #Once a ram, but ain't not no more. ๐Ÿ‘€
  4. Come on now mate. @sage is arguably the most helpful forumite on here, and you're still making excuses! Whatever happened to: #kindred spirits #teamwork #all in it together #etc...
  5. ... And the little crafter/makers shop ("The Cabin") just 131ft off King St (down Campbell St, which is dead opposite the Railway pub), if you'd be so kind. ๐Ÿ˜ Perhaps consider a small purchase of a new fabric specs case, or even a purse etc, for you journey home. Other fabric items are available from Muckerette's own little portion of the shop, plus lots of other tempting hand made items of all description, from the numerous other makers. #hard sell #blatant extortion #are there any depths this guy wouldn't stoop to? #what a f**kin' liberty #etc. ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿป
  6. Genuine question... Can you explain why the tech can't be utilised now, but could in your example? Tech question aside, My thoughts are that it literally makes no difference. We currently have the human eye checking videos/stills to see if player A is further forward than player B. Your proposal still relies on the human eye checking videos/stills to determine whether there is an actual and complete gap/space/daylight between players A & B. A 2mm gap in reality would be no easier to spot on screen than one being 2mm further forward than the other. Not worse... but no improvement either. EDIT: Apologies... I now see @ram59 has already made the same point. ๐Ÿป
  7. You've not really thought this through, have you! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ You've clearly forgotten/ignored the clear and obvious anti-DCFC bias that leads to us getting no decisions in our favour! We're famous for it, remember! ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ˜‰
  8. I would actually pay good money for a live stream of the court proceedings between these two. Win. Win. ๐Ÿคฃ
  9. Welcome to the forum. I'm no expert, but I believe the tickets are sold in a similar way to the seats... ie numbered positions... but that's merely for technical reasons, to keep an on-line tally. In reality, I can't see how it would be feasible... or indeed remotely possible... to keep tabs on who stands where. I'll be utterly amazed if you are anything less than "absolutely fine", and other than the odd crowd sway, will be able to stand with each other throughout the game. Relax, enjoy, and come on you Rams! ๐Ÿ
  10. I'm all for it. Gets a thumbs up from me. I'd also like to participate in a 4 hour pre-match car-boot picnic/BBQ in the West Stand Car Park, and have scantily clad female purveyors of (even more) snacks and beverages parading up and down the aisles in the stands, throughout the entire 3 hour game (extended to allow for time-outs and words from sponsors). Oh... and if we catch a matchball, we get to keep it! Bring it on, I say. Have a nice day.
  11. Already on it... #Mergeincoming...
  12. I believe it is, yes. But is it rightโ€ฆ or even good for the game as a spectacleโ€ฆ for the ball to travel from one end to the other, for however long that took (Iโ€™ve no idea?๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ) and for a โ€œgoal to be scoredโ€ before calling it all the way back?
  13. Just looked this up, and found it. What a farce! ... And how the heck was the NGA keeper allowed to wear a nigh on identical kit to the RSA outfield players! WTF! ๐Ÿคฃ
  14. And just in case you didn't know... That then sends a notification to the named poster that you have mentioned them. Just plainly typing the name (with or without the @) doesn't notify them. You must choose them from the drop down list (as kindly noted by @rynny ) for them to be notified. The more you type, the shorter the drop down list becomes, of course. Apologies if you already knew that bit.
  15. Spirits? On a Ghost walk? For the reason, I'm out!
  16. This is fantastic! We should start doing this every month, and not just the months where we're in the top two! ๐Ÿ‘€
  17. Steve Bloomer's watchin', helping the team. Guiding our heroes in the pink or the green. All teams who go there, there's nowhere to hide. Everyone is frightened of that Derby pride. * I could be wrong! ๐Ÿ‘€
  18. Fair comment, but being in a strange place, it's always good to get ones bearings, so asking if this is a library is a wise move. ... As of course, is ascertaining whether we are part of a fire drill (as opposed to an actual full on emergency evacuation), as the health and safety of us all is paramount.
  19. But you just di... oh, never mind!
  20. My all time favourite example of a keeper own goal... Just after the 1 min mark... A Chris Martin penalty and a Tomasz Kusczcak own goal were enough to give Derby a 2-1 lead over Brighton in the first leg of their playoff semi-final https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/08/brighton-v-derby-county-championship-play-off-semi-final-live
