Shall I let you into a secret? At least 50% of us do go to the stadium early and are bored rigid with the lack of atmosphere and decent facilities while we wait around for the drinkers to come and stand in front of us, push past after kick off and generally ruin the first 15 minutes of the game.
If I had my way, I'd make the buggers wait until an interval before allowing them up to their seats!
And I used to love a coffee and cake before the game. I really miss the Backyard.

Nothing new in this article. As you say, it’s all taken from CK’s tweets. Says 5 players under contract are Bird, Sibley, Knight, Stratton and Bielik. Buchanan to leave as his extension trigger has passed.
Nowt new to report though. The Athletics coverage of Derby has gone downhill since Conway left. I’ll be cancelling my subscription, there’s nothing in there anymore.

Garry Cooks CV is very impressive but I’m sure somebody on here will pick fault that he hasn’t done enough and worked with big enough brands to deserve any recognition.

The guy has more than been there and done it - just having the Jordan brand on your CV is huge but to do what he did with City is unbelievable. He put all the plans in place for their new training facility - he believes in youth to make the club sustainable.

Kirchner and Cook are a big yes from me.

If Andy didnt claim to be ITK and wasnt controversial no one would read his Tweets, I wonder if attention seeking is perhaps his motivation. I conceed that there is a lot we dont know about CK and his  aproach is some what different but he does have Gary Cook with him and I also find that encouraging, why would Gary Cook  associate himself with CK, if CK didnt have the funds to buy the club.

Given the obvious disdain Kirchner has for Morris, I'd say a quick deal would be unlikely. CK hinted at changing prices on PP back in Dec/Jan & no guarantees Morris wouldn't try to extract a few more quid. I think it makes more sense the council dealing with Morris & removing him from DCFC entirely asap. See no reason why a deal couldnt be struck quickly given they are acting as a benign trustee (and not a rich prospective owner) so making negotiations with Morris less adversarial.
Once done, my preference would be for the council to keep ownership of PP to prevent this debacle happening again. They can charge rent/share of gate receipts so it becomes a revenue generator for the public purse but allow CK to utilise PP for other revenue generating events. That arrangement would also lower CK's capital outlay so enabling him to focus funds on rebuilding club infrastructure/playing side...win win.

Same as all anonymous 'ITK' twitter accounts - someone who could benefit from either psychiatric  intervention, or a reminder on the meaning of the word 'integrity'.

Just had a quick read, very odd stance from that “Andy” fella. Spent months tweeting bits and pieces to try and prove himself ITK about the takeover, pouring over info on companies house etc. Now there is a preferred bidder he is engaged in some weirdly direct attempt to unpick and disprove all of CK’s credibility/finances/business dealings/decisions/plans…. It takes all sorts I suppose ??‍♂️

CK is on Twitter now basically saying that everything Andy DERBY5HIRE has said is nonsense. Apart from that he rates Tom Lawrence.

Well he is certainly being open and communicating with Wayne and now fans which is a criticism many rightly levelled against MM. Also it is heartening that Punjabi Rams mentioned this publicly not CK as far as I know which I like. My only word of warning to CK would be dont get too close to fans unless you are willing to be when there are hiccups as well.

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.
I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!

    Mel Morris is a banker,
    He wears a bankers hat,
He said he loved our Derby,
    But he's a ducking twit.

He said that he would sell us,
    And wanted just a pound,
But he's a lying bar steward,
    And took away our ground.

It doesn't have to be amazing, in depth, fielding callers questions but just a short introductory interview:
    "Tell us about yourself"
    "You businesses so far"
    "Why derby county"
    "Expectations, plans"
Just so we get a feel of the guy. I know some won't be happy with anything less than an absolute grilling but radio derby aren't going to get that.

I think the point is I would and most fans would gladly chomp down a Kentucky Jumbo Corn Dog or Supersize New York whopper Burger at half time if it means we have DCFC to support.
Yeh we should hear from Kirchener soon and fingers crossed a deal gets done!

The concourse outlets and catering was all outsourced to the company that does Wembley concourses. Delaware North. GSE wouldn't have had much say other than take whatever slice of profits they were contracted to as the club. From their own website, they've had it from 2008, which coincides with the GSE takeover. https://www.delawarenorth.com/venues/pride-park-stadium

On the Kirchner news, with him now being confirmed as the preferred bidder - can Radio Derby et al now get an actual interview with him to play out on air? Even if it isn't live or interactive, just to hear direct from Kirchner's mouth and not via "I spoke to him/advisors over Twitter" or likewise. You've been confirmed, now speak to us directly on the radio, answer some questions about the process from now and the future plans. That'll go a long way to getting everyone on side.

Speaking so well on MNF. A few takes from it.

    - Out of 5 players contracted beyond this season 2 are options which we cannot take up while in administration.
    - Wants to build a squad at Derby and build over 2-3 years.
    - Wasn't happy how we were playing last season.
    - Wants to play possession based football.
    - Ref Ravel, says he’s been brilliant, when out the team he was great around the dressing room and with the kids.
    - How does he get to manage Manure or Everton - have belief in himself, says with Derby he’s developing as a manager/coach/person.
    - Got approached by Everton, felt it wasn’t the right time as he’s still developing.

Speaks so well. 5/10 years ago you could never imagine him coming across as well as he does.

Sorry but that's an appalling suggestion.
If we do get liquidated, start a phoenix club by all means but please don't screw over another club, with its fans, history and community.
This is not the NFL with franchises. What the FA/EFL allowed to happen to Wimbledon was shocking. It should've been MK Dons that were a new club.
I know we are desperate. We are all worried. But, whatever happens, rebranding an existing club should not be an option, let alone the last option.
