We need more ‘care’ from our players in the final third. McGoldrick and Collins especially who I don’t think have been great the last few games overall.
Forsyth is currently in his best patch of form that he’s had in some years. Positionally he’s excellent, fully deserved motm. 
Poor ref it has to be said. They can make mistakes and all that, but when you are misreading a players intent I find it hard not to criticise. Yes you can look at the stamp, and possibly Sibley being elbowed, but that obstruction on Mendez-Laing at the end is the best example. Player has no intent for the ball and just looks to step in NML’s way and ref doesn’t see it, the player even moves away from the ball and towards NML. Refereeing is about reading the game and the ref failed in that today.

You know what ? I don’t think he’s an enigma. I think he’s a young developing player with significant potential. He has produced some magic moments and played some very average games. Isn’t that par for the course ? I also think he’s a good instinctive footballer and his best position isn’t necessarily set in stone at the moment. Let’s just see how it goes.

More of a battle than a football game.
Weds came with a game plan which was effective and overly physical. We kind of dealt with it but the ref did us absolutely no favours at all.
Defence we’re the star performers with Fozzy the pick of the bunch. Midfield were ok, but our front two were poor, part of that was lack of service, part was both seemingly having an off day. Definitely a day where defences were on top!
It was one of those games you just have to accept as a point gained against a rival and move on.
Better performance is needed in the final third if we want to keep our position in the play off mix

Re:the stamp, I don’t believe the player puts down his foot in a natural position for running. That and the Sibley elbow were very naughty in my opinion. There’s a way to play aggressively where you also protect your opposition player in a challenge, neither of these did that and I really dont like to see it whether it’s against Derby or anyone else tbh.

One of the things VAR should be set up to show - is the ball in or out. But they'd rather argue about a gnats hair of offside or a debateable penno! ?

I swear every time I come to Headingley, the opposition are batting out, it’s cloudy and there’s a good chance of rain.
Not complaining at £30 a ticket for a padded seat and a decent view though 

What really annoys me, much as I hate VAR, to see players caught massively offside still wagging their finger at the linesman and arguing! Like VAR will be swayed by that!

Yeah…I’m not saying a decision should be decided on entertainment though. I used two examples where VAR had an effect on the game to say I’m not sure if it’s having a positive effect. It’s the impact VAR is having on football as entertainment rather than entertainment having an impact on VAR
